Jack BlackKung Fu Panda [Blu-ray]

I loved the original 2D version as DVD - enough to happily buy the 2D Blu-ray and I was delighted to find state of the art application of both high definition video and audio in that format. However when I found out that a 3D version of this original Kung Fu Panda movie had been released, I initially hesitated to purchase it - mostly because of a lack of reviews for that version - but now that I have seen the 3D Blu-ray I cannot understand why there are not dozens of rave reviews for it. My brother and I have over thirty 3D Blu-rays, and I reckon that the quality of 3D design here is certainly as good as in Up! (which is my standard for excellence in that format). Kung Fu Panda is a wonderful story which is ideal for all ages - being heart warming, inspiring, engaging and highly entertaining. It has a magnificent sound design (especially in surround) and every frame of every scene is pure art - made all the more appreciable in 3D. Naturally I highly recommend the Kung Fu Panda Blu-ray 3D.

This movie should be seen in 3d. Because this is the way that this film was made. The 3d blu ray is a excellent as well. The story is charming and the whole family can enjoy this film. However , it is a 3d film and should be seen that way. If you are going to buy a new tv, THEN buy a 3d one because that should be standard at this time.

What can i say Jack Black brings this character to life. I think this character was made just for him to play. A very funny movie for kids and adults alike. This is a fun and entertainment at its best.

Item arrived fully wrapped in plastic but plastic wrap was wrinkled, loosely fitted and looked like edges and corners had been folded and possibly melted.Item arrived with finger prints and damage on the DVD.I do not know if a previous customer returned after opening it and just took efforts to seal it again or not, but that is how it appears.

The kid loves Kung Fu Panda next to Finding Nemo. I am so glad they had it in 3-D. It has been fun watching these with my son.

i've never watched this movie despite having seen it airing on cable (changed the channel). i thought since it is dreamworks and 3d, i will probably enjoy it. instead, there were only a few funny moments for me. i didn't find any part of the plot particularly touching besides the brief story between shifu and the cub. dreamworks movies always have a heartfelt spark to them, and this movie was seriously lacking. the 3d didn't wow me except in two scenes (fireworks rocket and flying petals). so ultimately, i feel disappointed in this blind buy and regret spending so much money on this 3d blu.there are too many cliches about chinese culture in this movie and it is hard to like this panda. none of the characters were memorable or well developed besides shifu. maybe because i do not like jack black much, i did not care for this movie. if you are amused by stereotypical comedies like american pie, dumb and dumber, meet the fockers, or whatever....this might be for you. children will most likely enjoy it though.
