She loves art projects and doing things for other people. Today, at a large athletic facility with several sporting events, she gave one of her flowers to a young girl she didn't know. Later, a man was walking around it with it, then another little girl had it. Over the three hours I was there, different people -- strangers to each other -- passed off the flower as a "random act of kindness." They were able to make the flowers without any supervision and they came out as pictured. Six months later and they are still in vases and look beautiful. Don’t hesitate to buy this kit. My children are very gifted six-year-olds and no stranger to craft projects. But cutting the thickness of the tissue paper (once it was folded all together) was very hard for their small hands. A great deal of this craft project had to be done by me. It was fun to do together, but it’s not something they can really do on their own.
