Puerh Tea No5

The first time I brewed the tea exactly according to directions (with rinsing) and it was very good...mellow, smooth with a mild flavor. I do enjoy a Pu'erh that is more earthy and strong so I skipped the rinse on my second brewing. It was only slightly more bitter which I did enjoy, and I was able to get 3 brewings that mellowed the flavor. This is a very good tea and would be nice for people who have not tried Pu-erh before. I think it is a good bargain as you can easily get several brews from one portion of tea, and brew the strength according to your preferences without compromising the flavor. I am well pleased with my purchase.

Shue Pueblo 5 is a great choice for lovers of classic black Pueblo. Its excellent value for money surprised me pleasantly. The vivid and rich taste of this tea with light wood notes instantly lifts the mood and gives a sense of strength. It dissolves perfectly in water and is prepared by cooking. The great advantage is its versatility: suitable for everyday use and maintenance of tone.

Okay, flavor is a bit weak. Too much black tea "sharpness". Earthy, as it should be, but needs to mellow out... price point too high for this quality.

This is a nice solid standard pu-erh tea. I’ve had it hot and cold brewed. The taste has depth and it is perfect as a replacement for coffee with less caffeine kick. I recommend.

I really like the pure, black tea-like flavor and aroma of puerh tea - and this one is a real find. The tea comes in a hard-pressed cake and is easy to break apart as needed. I brew the tea in a small metal tea infuser basket. I often drink my puerh tea hot in the morning but saw online that you can make iced tea from puerh as well. For some reason, I had never thought of that! I just started brewing puerh tea out in the summer sun in a glass mason jar and it's really delicious. Not herbally nor bitter - just a bold clean iced tea. I like to add a small slice of orange to the brew as well. There are a lot of tea choices on Amazon and I'm happy to report that this one's a keeper.

I bought one of every variety of Shu Puerh this factory makes. This is the only one I have tried so far, but I love it. Very earthy and buttery with some high notes as well. Very happy with the purchase.

awful tea that is somehow flavorless and unpleasant at the same time. I used freshly boiled water and it tastes like I microwaved the rainwater from a trash can

I’ve tried shovel bruise now, different amounts in the amount that they recommend in the water temperature and this is very strong with no flavor. I didn’t enjoy it very disappointed, and I was excited to get it.

This tea was a great purchase! Love the flavor!

I really wanted to like this, but it is a very bland representation of cooked puer. I will not be ordering this again.

The tea itself was nicely packaged. But there was an odor of fish once used that I just couldn't get over. It made me sick to even drink it.

I come from Ukraine where it was much better, this one that I try from Amazon much worse, it even not close to good to drink

Sorry, didn't enjoy this. Jinglong's mini puerh tea cakes are my regular purchase - taste and value are much better. But I doubt I'll be repurchasing from them after such a disappointing puerh cake.
