I have purchased this twice over the years to replace the original Balboa heater in my tropic seas spa. It’s always arrive quickly. It’s easy to hook up and it works perfectly. This time it heated the spa to 104 the same afternoon that I installed it. Very satisfied.

Sensor on top of tube broke off when I tried to loosen nut. Please send ups return slip.I will buy from you again.

The original heater model in my Marquis spa is 58089 but this unit has the same specifications and the description indicated 58083 is a replacement for the 58089.My heater stopped functioning properly (would only heat the water to 80 degrees). My dealer ordered a replacement two months ago. I finally decided to take matters into my own hands, received this heater in just a couple of days and installation was as easy as shown in youtube video.Water temperature easily restored to my preferred temp in just a couple of hours.Perfect unit, made by the same company as OEM (Balboa). Easy install included retro fit connectors to replace the copper ones that corroded.

This was not the Balboa product as stated in the description, that I was replacing. It was not the exact fit, but was able to get it to work.

Easy install. Heated wayer quickly but had to repurchase after 1 year of use. Stopped heating water to over 100 in cooler weather.

I ordered this to replace my failed hot tub heater. But I was talked into just buying a replacement element. 6 weeks the new replacement element failed. Covered of rust in 6 weeks. Dam I should have keep this compleat heater. Now looking for a replacement. Dam...
