Bad flavor
Unpleasant taste for making stuffing. I would have preferred a plain option that I could have flavored myself. Still love the garlic croutons and will continue to use Gillian's for making Caesar Salad!

This is the best
This is the best gluten free stuffing we've found and the closest to homemade!

An Amazing Discovery
Finding gluten-free stuffing was amazing. I used this product 2 years ago during the holidays, but could not find it in the stores last year. Then I thought search on-line. This is definitely as good as anything I could make from scratch. Cooking gluten-free is not an option in our home, but a necessity for health reasons. This is simple and delicious.

Used them in my Thanksgiving stuffing and they were great! Hard as bricks
Used them in my Thanksgiving stuffing and they were great! Hard as bricks, practically, but that's what gluten free is usually like so I was very happy.

No short cuts to good stuffing ... and that is what I THOUGHT I was buying.
The first disappointment I had was upon opening the package and seeing that it is JUST dried bread. Stuffing MIX to me means having the bread and herbs already and you add the wet ingredients (eggs, melted butter, etc). Thankfully I had everything needed to flavor it.Secondly, and I should have noticed this in the store, there are no directions how to prepare it other than the recipe on the back which involves adding 8 oz. of pork/meat. I know GF stuff tends to be dry, but regular directions for how to replace the moisture the pork added would help been helpful. Finally, the flavor was good (because of what I added) but the texture was so crumbly it was like eating sawdust.Next year I will do what I normally do and make the toasted cubes myself. I have never used Stove Top Stuffing, but I was hoping this was a GF version of that.

I've seen better looking cat food...
I was optimistic to find what appeared to be (going by the pic on the package) a great GF stuffing mix. And while it was merely dried 'croutons' in the package, I was still optimistic because after all, it WAS stuffing.Following the directions exactly, and not modifying the basic stuffing at all, the final result was the worst excuse for "stuffing" imaginable: the texture was worse than a cheap canned cat-food, and it "slopped" off the spoon, the color was nearly as bad: a "greige" color. Flavor? It was wet bread without additional seasonings, and I couldn't get past the texture.I really hate to write this kind of review, but I have never had such a bad experience with a product.
