Excellent summer gloves
Fitting for me in XL was just slightly loose, exactly what I want in a summer glove. The thumb was absolutely not short, as another reviewer mentioned, and I have fairly long thumbs. And best of all these are UNLINED leather, except in the knuckle reinforcement area. Why MC glove makers put lining in a perforated summer glove is beyond me. Olympia gets it where others simply don't. They have thin gel in palms, but I don't ride a paint shaker so not really needed for me. Just buy them, you won't find any better hot weather glove in the $50 price range.

Not for people with shorter thumbs
I wear a size large glove. My hands measure 8.5" around (measured below the knuckles). The fit was good for everrything except my thumb. My thumb is 3" long, measured from the webbing between my thumb and forefinger to the tip of my thumb. These gloves left between almost 1/2" hanging loose at the end of my thumb. Sending them back.

Snug fit, good ventilation, comfortable
I purchased a size medium of this glove after losing my first pair a while ago because I liked them that much. The thing about this glove is that they fit snugly. When I bought my first pair, I chose this glove specifically because the finger length was reported to be on the shorter size. My hands are probably a little on the small side, and as it turns out, the gloves fit well. Finger length is shorter than many other gloves out there, and the body of the glove is not overly roomy. They fit on the tight side in my view, but they work very well for my hands. As for quality, my other pair still had lots of life in them after 3 years of regular use before losing them. Dang it. The gel padding on the palm is good, the leather is soft and does stretch out a bit with time. The Velcro strap holds up. Anyway, buying the same gloves again is the best endorsement possible, isn't it? Just keep in mind that they fit a bit small.

Great summer gloves
These gloves are excellent for summer riding. I wear size XL, and at first they are almost too tight, but break in nicely for a secure fit. Easy to use various controls on the bike with these on. Leather feels substantial and offers good protection. Laid my bike down going about 20 in a curve and they did a good job of protecting my hands. The perforations keep your hands cool in the florida heat, especially for leather gloves. I tend to go through about 1 pair a year, but my bike is my daily transportation so these gloves get a lot of use. They are definitely not water proof but they've held up pretty well after getting soaked completely through multiple times. I'm on my forth pair and don't see myself ever buying a different summer glove. Now if I could just find some winter gloves that work just as well!

Best summer riding gloves!
Super comfy. Great quality. My 2nd pair. After 5 years the 1st pair had to go. So pleased I had to buy them again!

The best out of a bunch of others
I ordered a bunch of other gloves from other manufacturers, some almost twice the price of these. This pair is the best out of all of them. Leather is good quality, supple, and nicely ventilated and padded.

Gel padded palm is lacking protection needed
Bought these gloves to help relieve/remedy hand numbness because they have "Gel padded palm for protection, comfort and shock absorption". These gloves didn't reduce numbness at all. I still get numbness after 30 minutes of riding. However the quality and fit of the gloves are above average.

Protective and great looking classic style motorcycle gloves.
I am a fan of Olympia gear and these gloves are a big reason why. They fit my slim hands very nicely without any pressure points and without being loose. The perforations keep my hands from sweating during warm days but are also definitely noticeable on cold rides. The padded palms help sooth your hands during long rides and the velcro helps keep them snug on your wrists. Only mediocre part is the plastic knuckle guards. I'm sure they work, but they could be made better with a better mold.
