great size, good product
In general, this mouse is great. It is perfect for my 2-5 year olds whose hands are just too small for the big mouse. Also, the color coordination of the left and right mouse buttons allows me to easily direct my 2 year old who doesn't quite get the concepts of left and right, yet. The only drawback is that when I am using this mouse it seems to be lacking responsiveness. Meaning, it may lag behind my hand movements, and be a bit hard to get to land on the object I want. Sometimes, even when helping my kids, I grab my grown up mouse after some frustration. I think it may be part of the reason my 2 yr old uses her fingers (we have a touch screen computer) more than the mouse. Overall, however, it is a product I would recommend and purchase again!

Perfect first mouse for my 3 year old
I bought this as a first mouse for my 3 year old. They were going to be learning how to use the computer at preschool and had a little mouse for it. As we just have laptops at our house with no mouse, I bought this so it would be easier for her than trying to learn the trackpad on the pc or the one button trackpad on the mac. This was plug and play for both machines and she picked it right up so quickly. Tracks well, great size for her little hands, and love that it has different colored buttons so I can say red click or blue click instead of left and right (which she doesn't know yet). This was a great purchase. I just can't believe how much she can already do on a computer at 3. Blows me away!

The perfect toddler mouse
I got this mouse for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas, and I have to say I think it's the reason she has managed to use the computer on her own! The small size is still a bit large for her hands, but she's able to control it well - the color coded mouse buttons are REALLY what does it! While she knows left from right, explaining it to her when she couldn't figure out where her fingers went and where to press on my monochrome mouse was more difficult than I anticipated. Once she was able to recognize on her own mouse how to hold it, she started to be able to use ours as well. That seemed like a good thing, though, until she realized that she could walk to our PCs when we would get up to do something and play for us. If you aren't willing to sacrifice your MMO character to some random horde of monsters your child decides to run you into after learning their skills from this mouse, you should seek a different product.Overall, I'm quite impressed with how it works for little hands, I only wish it was a little less expensive!

Makes all the difference for small child learning to use a computer
My almost 5 yr old just started using the computer and regular size mouse was not a good fit for his little hand.Switching to a small mouse made all the difference - truly amazed how quickly he learned to click, drag and draw on the computer. Not sure if his quick progress was due to the mouse or not but it definitely made a huge difference in how much easier it is for him to hold it and how perfectly it fits in a small hand. Also a great addition is color coding of left and right buttons - it took no time for him to learn that it's the blue button that he needs to click on.FYI - comes with an adopter from usb to the older style connector (we used the usb one).

Perfect Size for a 4 Year Old.
Bought this mouse to teach my 4 year old daughter how to use a computer and needed something that would fit her small hands. The size on this is perfect. I like the color coding to help her recognize between each button. The only complaint would be its weight, its simply too light. A little added weight to this mouse would help with control. I am planning on opening it up and adding a little weight to it myself.

Perfect for little hands, and very light.
I am an adult with small hands, and this is perfect for me. I didn't give it 5 stars, because sometimes you have to hit the button a few times before it works. Not a big deal for me. I can live with it, and it is perfect for a kid. You just plug it in, and start playing.

I loved the mouse when I first got it
I got this mouse because some of the reviews said that even a 2-year-old could not destroy it. Well, I am an adult, but I do have very small hands. I loved the mouse when I first got it. But here I am, four months later, having to buy another one. The left mouse button has stopped functioning completely. I used the mouse on the same PC, in the same spot, every day for about 10 hours. This is a typical work day for a lot of people. The mouse still looks brand new, and it was not abused, thrown, smashed or banged up in any way. I used it. A lot. And the left button just stopped clicking. Not cool. My next mouse will not be one of these.

Son loves having his own mouse
I bought this for my then 3-year-old son to use when he played ABC Mouse and two years later he still loves it and asks for it whenever he is using my computer. It is just the right size for his hands and the colored buttons are cute and easy for him to feel and use. I just plug it in to one of the USB ports on the front of my tower and it's good to go! I initially used it with Windows 7 and it works perfectly with Windows 10 now.
