A Course in Miracles: Text / Workbook for Students / Manual for Teachers Paperback – Large Print, August 1, 2011

Well, my whole perspective on life changed. No religion is necessary, but it's helpful if you believe, or at least heard about, Jesus Christ. And have read the gospels in the Bible. I would suggest you just keep reading, even if it doesn't make sense at times. Just treat it like any other book. Read it because you enjoy it, and stop when you need a break, or are no longer enjoying it. I'm only 46% done. All aspects of my life have gotten better because of this book. I carry it around in my jacket pocket on my kindle whenever I feel like I need a morale boost.Definitely recommend this book. Worth the $4.99. And I definitely do not usually spend more than $1.99 on books. Not entirely sure what compelled me to buy it. I think Eckhart Tolle, a spiritual teacher, said that he enjoyed it, so I looked it up.Great book to read!

I tried reading ACIM twenty years ago. I was drawn to it but I just couldn't stay with it or fully understand the message. I finally put it aside and eventually gave the books to a library sale. This must be the time I was intended to read it. I have grown through time and other reading in my lifelong search for TRUTH and when I purchased the Kindle edition of ACIM about a month ago and began reading, it all fell into place for me. I fully understand all of the meaning, where it is leading, and the message of Atonement through Miracles. As it says in the introduction: "It is required reading. Only the time you read it will be up to you." This is my time and I am literally THRILLED. I HAVE FOUND THE TRUTH I HAVE BEEN SEEKING IN THESE PAGES THIS TIME AROUND! I recommend it for all Truth Seekers.

This book offers readers the opportunity to let go of old negative patterns developed by our experiences and which have been grown within each of us due to our perceptions. The author shares through simple daily exercises ways for us to challenge these old patterns and allow ourselves to become our authentic selves...Im still reading it as there is an exercise a day for one year, but wow....as the saying goes 'What a difference a day makes' simply actively do an exercise a day ..the kind of exercise I am talking about is in our mind so no having to get jogging!!..So get reading, allow your self to experience how different life can be and how enriching our experiences can be..we all deserve to live a life enriched and a Course in Miricles for me has been a helpful part of this process. This is not a fast read book, be prepared to read slowly to absorb and fully understand as there is so much on offer.

As mentioned in other reviews, this version is the Hugh Lynn Cayce (HLC) version published by White Crow, which is the original document and has quite a bit more material in it. When loaded on my Kindle, the ability to go back and forth to each of the 365 student lessons, the 70+ teacher lessons andalso each swection of the text itself makes this much easier to use than the 'paper' version. This book is a lot to take in, and the ability to go to individual sections easily has helped me quite a bit. I have had the paper version for 10 years, but I find i have read and understood much more from the Kindle version, both from the electronic formatting, but also because the HLC version just has much more background info.

I have the digital version, thinking about buying a physical copy. Yes this book is not easy to read. I read it once years ago. And then again recently, this time doing the exercises with strong commitment. If you are a twin flame, this book will take on a whole new meaning for you, which I discovered during my second reading. It will heal what separates you from your "brother". I believe those who've come out of, or still dealing with, intense trials in life will find this book invaluable. The pain gives you the impetus to free yourself once and for all.

Going on a trip, I wanted to take my copy of ACIM, but the weight of the book discouraged me from packing it in my carry-on. Downloading the digital copy was a fantastic option. The price was right and the content is exactly as it appears in the paper edition. Rating the book, inclusive of text, workbook and teachers' manual, I can't say more about how the Course has positively affected my life. Rating the digital edition, I give it a 5 thumbs-up. I'm still able to underline and access passages for review at a later time, yet the weight of the digital edition makes it a perfect choice for carry-on or take-a-long.

I chose this rating because I have read through the Course in Miracles completely at least twice. It is a powerful life changing book that should be distributed through out the globe to raise consciousness. I found it to be a sacred text for it is an application of living by divine design; outside of egocentricity. The Course in Miracles could be applied into developing a higher level of accountability for ethical standards in business. This book could be used for standardizing regulations throughout out any marketing system to create new policies making sustainability a natural way of doing business as leaders, because it is about creating sacred relationships while on this human journey.
