HI-DEF NEON™ Colored Acoustic Guitar Strings (Red, Light (12-54))

These are awesome strings! I love the sound and the look on my white acoustic guitar. A lil easier on the fingertip callouses too for those that are beginners and working through the pain! Don’t give up!!

Strings are good. The sound is amazing, deep, and vivid

I got these just for Rocksmith. I already play guitar, but sometimes I had trouble finding the right strings fast enough. So I thought "hey maybe I should try these colored strings". They definitely helped. I can associate the colors faster than just identifying the string by location. (I am dyslexia so I'm sure that doesn't help) My changes are much faster and accurate for songs I've never played before. Which let's me advance the mastery of a song much more quickly and get to the full song. The sound is bright and clean. They've held up pretty good from heavy playing 1-4 hour a day since they've arrived. The coating has flaked off a bit where the pick strikes on the B and high E. But I honestly expected that. Especially when you play the Pixies - Where is my mind, over and over. The low E coating has held up surprisingly well considering all the banging on that in damn near every other song in rocksmith! lol Not a single sign of abuse thus far. I HIGHLY suggest these strings for any Rocksmith player. If you already play guitar, they make learning a fresh song and speeding up mastery a cinch. They also sound great. For the novice, these are indispensable. You really need to get these strings. I've sat people down that have never touched a guitar, and the combo of these strings + Rocksmith, I'm amazed at how well they play.

Put these on my Martin guitar, i love the way they sound and They look really neat with the neon green Unfortunately , after about a week , one of the strings popped? The guitar was setting on the stand and the string, just broke , hmm So when it comes to durability I have concerns. I think I will order another set and give it one more try before I reach a final conclusion on the strings.

The strings not only look awesome but the sound is great too. Came earlier than promised and impressed everyone in our band. Now I'm ordering more for others! Also a personal, handwritten "Thank you!" on the receipt was an added bonus.

These strings have an amazing sound and feel... BUT lets just say if you're hoping the color lasts don't count too much on it. I installed these on a Monday and noticed on Tuesday that the color where I pick was already flaking off and I havent really played on them much. For the money I guess one might say they are a decent value BUT keep in mind that the colors wont last long. The function is great and they fit well on my Yamaha APX600, It's just discouraging that after one day of playing it the color is already flaking off. I don't play with a hard pick either usually just finger strumming or a light pick that's really flexible I just feel that for the price you'd be better off just buying regular strings as the color "coating" is more of a gimmick.

Great strings! Love the sound the DR strings produce. I used these on my Fender Acoustasonic and they sound great. Even when plugged in. I also use there black beauties for my Bass’s as well as there DR Red Devils all great strings and great tones. Would recommend all of DR’s Strings

I haven't used these yet but I have more than one guitar and the one I've been playing I'm about to change the strings but I'm not putting these on that guitar got the coated ones I think it was the snake skin or something like that but these have five star and I needed some strings when I bought some other strings of the ones that are you know like elixirs they were very expensive but I used to buy another coat it when I can't remember what they were and I couldn't find them so I bought some Ernie balls they were cheap and they're still strings I don't like them I don't like the sound of them or the tone of those strings but you know you do what you do when that's all the money you got so these have a five stars so I ordered some but I really haven't used it but I put five star because they all had good ratings and it'll be all right you know if they're good and I like them good I'll buy more but if not I'll keep searching or maybe I'll find what I used to have but anyway you know you just try it and see but like I said it had five star rating stuff at 5 star rating and I am going to put it on My Guitar but I haven't really been playing it to where those strings out yet cuz like I said I got more than one guitar thank you

I got the DR Neon Green acoustic guitar strings, and I have to say – these are seriously impressive. The tone is crazy – bright, clear, and full of character.
