Loved it!
If you've read the first two books of the trilogy (Dragon Slippers and Dragon Flight), you DEFINITELY want to read this book and see how the trilogy ends! It takes twists that I would never expect! And if you haven't read the first two books, I would recommend purchasing them along with this one and reading the trilogy in order! You won't regret it!

Dragons and more dragons!!
This book has an excellent mix of charm, challenges, and change. Or, better stated as dragons and even more dragons! For some reason, Creel seems to be in the midst of trouble as she tries to save friends, dragons, and herself from unforeseeable dangers. And dragons. In this book, the evil dragons hoard humans to be their slaves. They are in desperate need of a queen, so they decide to steal one. Except they didn't plan on Creel 's determination or her attachment to important dragons in order to save Queen Velika from an unknown continent of dragons and their humans. It would be nice if Creel and her human and dragon friends could have a nice vacation on an enchanting tropical island without worrying about dangers, but even near the end of the book danger is waiting unseen. Creel spends her free time trying to make her wedding gown, again, and again, and again, and again. I feel bad for her gown. It seems to be sacrificed and rebuilt multiple times. She is quite a talented seamstress and my little granddaughter wants to grow up to be just like her. She even has her own sewing machine! Because of her and her brothers and sisters, I've read the Dragon Slippers series (and the Tuesdays at the Castle series) to them multiple times. I never get tired of reading them!!!! Thanks Jessica for the time and love you put into these books!!!! I'm glad there are more books by Jessica Day George for us to start reading.

Very entertaining!
I love this series! I’ve had it for years in book and ebook format and was thrilled when it was finally available on audible. The narrator does an excellent job reflecting the emotions of the moment, and the personalities of the characters

Good conclusion
Thought this was a good conclusion to the series. It wrapped up everything nicely and there's nothing important left for you to wonder about.Creel continues to be a good role model, doing things for the right reasons and making sacrifices, putting others' needs before her own.The whole series is a good one to help introduce a younger crowd to the fantasy genre. While there is some fighting, it's not detailed in such a way as to offend or scare kids. Good wins out over evil and it's got a happy ending. Very enjoyable!

The conclusion to a great fantasy trilogy
The third and final book in Jessica Day George's fantasy trilogy. Having survived Dragon wars, malicious princesses and poisonous alchemy Creel is looking forward to taking a break from her work at her dress shop to go and visit her dragon friends at their new home. However this cheerful trip unexpectedly turns to chaos when the Queen of the Dragons is kidnapped. A rescue mission is hastily launched and it soon seems that another dragon war is imminent, will Creel's bold approach to Dragon politics be enough to avoid bloodshed.Sitting somewhere between YA and tween fantasy I was, at first, a little disappointed with this book; perhaps owing to the fact that I'm older now, but after a while the story began to engage me and I felt the ending concluded the story rather well: leaving me feeling both satisfied and curious about the characters. All in all this is an engaging trilogy with a strong heroine that I thoroughly recommend, particularly to girls in their pre/early teens.
