EVPAD 3S TV Box 6K,2GB+8GB

I had a HTV4 box and it has been working intermittently in the recent weeks (Dec 2018). I brought this Evpad (6K) as a backup. It is a higher / newer video compression coder and it reduce the data rate to less than 300 KB/s. Due to its higher compression ratio, the picture quality is not as sharp as the HTV4. However, perhaps, due to its lower data rate requirement, it minimizes the hesitation of the pictures and overall smoother effect. Hence, I use the HTV4 when it works. I switch over to the Evpad when the HTV4 does not work well..

do not buy evpad, their replay function is a mess. Evening shows cannot replay. Talked with the customer service for 2 weeks and they never fix the problem. What's the point to buy a tv box that can't watch your favorite shows, can't even see competition finals, and customer service that's not helpful? DON'T BUY!

No good. Every 1 minute stoped picture and almost channel show "104k" and only black picture. When you buy it probably you will be stressed.... Absolutely not recommend.

The device came fast so that's the only good news.After working for a few days, most live TV channels stopped loading. Questions to EVpad customers service went unanswered.The Amazon seller said the server was down and would take a few days to fix, but this doesn't inspire confidence on the product.(Update after 7 days): After one week most live TV channels still come and go at random, and some working channels buffer quite badly making watching impossible.The message on the screen keeps saying they will improve and asks viewers to be patient. Again their customer service simply vanished so there’s no way to ask for updates.This is just terrible!How do we know if this server problem won't be a recurring issue?
