I've been loving Gin Gins for years, and always carry some in my purse. I offered some of these to my brother who coughed alot after heart surgery - he was hooked. Then I sent a small package of Gin Gins to my brother-in-law who lives abroad, and has allergies so he's constantly coughing. He immediately asked me to buy the 11 lb box for him, and he filled a suitcase with them to take back when he was here for a visit. My sister wants me to find out how she can import them! In short, we all love Ginger and these candies have a really nice strong pure ginger flavor. They last a long time, and they are great to use instead of cough drops or for when I get a sore throat. My whole family loves them.

This variety of ginger chews is my favorite. They are small and soft and flavorful—not too spicy, not too bland—and they make the perfect little treat when I want something sweet but the scale says I should ease up on the chocolate. They also seem to help curb nausea when I get a migraine…or at least eating one after another after another distracts me from it.

I’m absolutely hooked on these, but realizing how many I was eating I opted to forgo the 1lb bags and go all in with 11lbs - which should last at least a month ! I was worried that they might be the hard ones, but they’re perfect - chewy and delicious ! Furthermore there is some magic in these - no matter how many I eat the scales don’t seem to recognize I’ve been eating a ton of these ! Flavor is fantastic if you like ginger, which obviously I do!

Cost per average, this is the way to go. These are truly special. Any time I have a stomach ache, I eat one and it immediatly goes away. They also have a nice kick to them. This is the cheapest way to go if you enjoy these. I get the big bag and they last a long time. Ginger is so healthy for you and if you need a candy fix now and then, these will satisfy. I will always buy these in bulk so I have them around for myself and family and friends. Excellent tasting, natural, and better than Tums or any antacid on the market....

I just got a big box of these ginger chews and absolutely love them. On the outside of the box, it says "HARD CANDY" and I was about to just send them right back, since I was looking for a ginger snack with a chewy texture. But the texture is really just like those square caramels in a clear wrapper, but in a 3/4" diameter tablet shape, and there are nice bits of ginger mixed in.You can chew them (which I prefer), or let them dissolve in your mouth. These have a very spicy, intense flavor - quite a boost! I haven't tried them for upset stomach, but I can imagine these would do the trick. I like to chew a few after dinner, so maybe that's why I haven't had an upset stomach lately!I love the fact that each candy is individually wrapped, so you can toss a few in your bag, stick some in your office drawer, and carry a few in your car. If you get as addicted to them as I have become, you'll need them all over.

The candy is greatI bought this same exact bag size and flavor 8 months ago for 46$ and change. This price is insane. It’s horrible.

if you are like me and love the ginger people gin gins double strength hard ginger candy then you know trying to buy these online is a nightmare. in fact a 3 oz bag can go for more than $10.00 that is insane, but try and find them in a store it most likely will be another nightmare. this is the only true way to buy them. when you buy the 11 pound box make sure to order it directly from amazon. it will come in a the ginger people factory direct box with a product pamphlet and the candies will be sealed in a clear outer airtight bag with the manufacturing date and expiration. these will come fresh and save you a ton of money you wont be disappointed.

I love these ginger candies. But, I paid $35 about 3 months ago for them & now they're over $200! So now they're about 6 times that cost.
