This is a really well designed vent mount in almost every way. I love its minimalist profile, it's small, discreet, and doesn't look like a clunky on your dash when the phone isn't in it. It holds the phone securely. The spring-loaded grip is strong and I have zero concerns about my phone jostling loose, even on bumpy roads. You can easily rotate it for landscape or portrait view, which is great for navigation. I have used two of these for about 4 years now and they hold up. Of course it does block the airflow from that vent some degree but that should be expected. Overall, it's a great quality mount that holds your phone securely.

As someone who primarily uses their phone for maps navigation, this was an absolute must for my old car. It works & grips well to the vent. The size is good enough to the point where it does not obscure my screen. It adjusts to fit my phone size. It was a great buy!

Does the trick for iPhone 6 in my '16 Malibu. Adjusts easily and perfectly into cup holders. Keeps phone clear of gear shifter. Easy to put phone in and take it out. Charger cable slot is nice. Great minimalist mount. UPDATE! Under 2 months in, it broke. I took it out of the cup holder, and when I went to tighten it back in, I heard a "crack!" and the base wouldn't expand properly anymore. Hoping to get a replacement and try again because I really like this thing.

Belkin Car Cup Holder Mount for Smartphones - Black I purchased the Belkin Car Cup Holder on December 16, 2016 and in the latter part of April 2017 the device failed to operate any longer! The Cup Holder's Ribbed Twist Top stopped rotating out the device side-panels (which secure the device to the inside of your vehicles cup holder) and instead began pushing up the stem-neck of the device? I have no idea how the ribbed-twisting portion came unattached from the base but I was unable to re-secure the twisting dial to it's base and unfortunately I now have a useless cup holding device! It's really sad because the overall design of this product is very good, but apparently the mechanics of the device are not! I'm really surprised by this because it's manufactured by Belkin and their products are usually well made, but unfortunately Belkin gets a low rating on this product due to the fact that it only lasts 5 months before failing and it fell out of warranty in January which is a very short warranty period in my opinion.

This vent mount for a smartphone works really well. I have tried others and found that they slide off the vent. This one stays in place really well and it grips the phone securely. The mount pushes onto any vane of a heating/cooling vent. Be sure to push it on all the way. It has a very strong grip and stays in place really well. The phone holder spreads easily and when released it holds the phone very firmly, in either portrait or landscape configuration. I find it easy to insert the phone; it is easier to do with two hands. E.g. While pulling the right side of the holder outward with your middle finger, use the left side of the phone to push the left side of the holder outward. When you have pushed the two sides of the holder apart sufficiently, simply slide the right side of the phone into the holder and release. I usually use a power cord and attach it before placing the phone in the holder but it can also be connected after the phone is in place. The phone holder rotates in all directions so you can adjust the phone angle. The extent to which you can adjust the phone angle will depend upon the dashboard design. If the dashboard surrounding the vent extends farther out than the vent then it will limit swivel movement.

I bought one for myself and my teenage daughter. The clip slides right onto the vent and stays in place. In my daughters Ford Escape, I can slide the phone up to the highest point and still get air flow from the lower part of the vent. The vents in my Kia Soul are shorter and wider, so I lose air flow from that vent. Not an issue for me, but maybe for some. I ordered two more today for my other two daughters. What I like most is that it isn't distracting to look at when the phone is not in it. Some of the ones I researched before buying were so big and bulky that I thought "yuk". This one is so small you barely notice it. Also, the clips don't prohibit swiping left or right. We have iphones and use face unlock. What my daughter likes most is that it is positioned so that her face automatically unlocks it and she doesn't need to enter a code. My other daughter likes that she can record the street in front of her as she drives. This mount is very similar to the one sold at Apple Store for $30. The model number is identical except for the last two letters. The style is the same, so for the price this was awesome. The only downside is that it when I take the phone out, the entire mount slides out and I need to put it back in. It slides right back onto my vent easily so it's not a big deal for me, but if you are in and out of your car all day long, it might get irritating. If there are problems with the items over time I will update my review. There are a lot of mounts that are less than this and a lot that are more, this one seems great for us... good quality and mid-range price of $18.

It was easy set up though if you have a silicone/smooth skin phone case, the phone will slide down from the clamp. Thanks to my round AC knob it holds the bottom of my phone, so it won't fall off. After finding a remedy for that, it was working for few months. Sometimes I have to rotate my phone to landscape mode and rotate it back to portrait position. This was fine for a while but then one day the phone clamp just separated from the clip that attaches to the vent as I rotate my phone. I tried to snap it back together but everytime I rotate it, it becomes flimsy and eventually separates from the clip again. And unfortunately I've already missed the window for return/exchange...

Si adatta perfettamente in quasi tutte le macchine dotate di alloggiamento per bicchiere e specie nelle Fiat 500L, non dà alcuna interferenza con il cambio. Il prodotto è molto valido e anche se il suo costo supera altri tipi di supporto per smartphone, ritengo che è costruito ed assemblato con ottimi materiali e come si vede dalle foto allegate, giunge in una bella confezione. Le guide scorrevoli sono in acciaio e non in plastica come per altri prodotti e ritengo pertanto che durino nel tempo. Le ganasce internamente sono rivestite di ottima gomma resistente in modo da tenere fermo il cellulare, senza danneggiarlo. Ho scelto questo tipo di supporto in quanto non sono di mio gradimento quelli per alette aria, primo perché bisogna tenerle chiuse per evitare il surriscaldamento del cellulare d'inverno e poi li ritengo antiestetici perché espongono molto alla vista il telefono. Il pacco è arrivato ben imballato da Amazon (perfetta azienda) e prima del previsto. Pertanto, in base al mio gradimento sull'acquisto, mi sento di consigliarlo senza alcun indugio, perché ritento Belkin una ditta molto affidabile.

Déçu par la charge. Mon iPhone X peine à garder son taux de charge, bien souvent la batterie se décharge alors qu’il est bien installé sur son socle. Obligé de prendre la charge avec mon câble fourni par Apple. Déçu de ce côté. Cependant, maintient parfait et idéal en paysage.

Se acopla muy bien al portavasos y en principio la calidad parece buena y sujeta bien el teléfono así que es un buen producto para mi gusto
