Update a few months later......I really like this case/battery combo, it’s worked perfectly with no issues.I had broken my case and reached out to the manufacturer, I was just going to buy another one.They shipped me out a free replacement, and emailed me later on to make sure I had received it.I really appreciate when companies take the extra step like this.You gotta love customer service like that.I like this product, works as advertised.ProsFeels well builtBattery pack turns on automatically when you attach it to your phone, nice little touch)Turns off automatically when you detach it.Should be able to charge any phone with wireless charging capabilities.ConsThe magnets are not very strong, they aren’t terrible but definitely hold onto both the phone and battery pack when needing to move them. But this isn’t limited to this product, this is just how they have to be designed.

This came and was as described. It had no instructions or cords in the box. It had a case and the battery in the box. 1) i had to use the battery with the case that it comes with; the magnetism did not work with my current case, 2) It came fully charged. 3) It was pretty warm while charging. 4) after it was fully charged, it is now cool and does not seem to be a risk for overheating. 5) I chose the type that said it would be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S7, and it seems to fit it well. You lightly snap on the case and the battery has a firm but mild magnetism to the back of the case. 6) It began charging right away. 7) The box arrived with a precautionary sticker which said it was not allowed to be shipped via planes since it was a battery. 8) I plugged in my charge cord and a tiny light started flashing. Apparently it is done charging when there are 4 tiny lights remaining steady. (It does not come with a cord.) I DO wish I could have had a color I wanted, but black is fine. 9) I am happy with my purchase so far (I have had it for less than 24 hours) and plan to use cords that I already have to charge it with. I almost gave it a 4 star rating because it comes with no cord to recharge it with, but to be fair, I knew it would not come with one...so it did not deserve a penalty :)Update: the protective case that works with the battery, broke. I did not realize it was glass with rubber type border. Little glass slivers made it unusable now. Without the special cover that comes with it, it will not magnetize to my phone...so am not able to use the battery at all now. :( I contacted the company and have not seen a response. Changed from 5 to 2 stars. Very disappointed.

I wasn't sure that products like this existed, but they do. This is extremely convenient for me, as I was looking for a battery case that didn't male my phone 2x thicker than it was. The battery attaches magnetically, so your phone only has to be thicker when you need the extra juice. The battery pack charges my iphone 8 about 1.5x to 2x per charge wirelessly and about 2.5x with the cord from the USB port. It also charges surprisingly quickly for a wireless charger!The magnet is strong enough to firmly attach to the batter to the phone, but you will want to hold them both together. Its strong enough to not concern you, but not so strong that it makes it hard to remove. It could be slightly stronger I suppose, but nothing to harp about.The only thing I will say is that I don't think this product has overcharge protection, so I wouldn't leave your phone on it for hours at a time after the phone has reached 100%. But the product never claimed to have that, and iPhones now have settings enabling slow charge past 80% anyway, so it may not even be an issue. But for this price point, I wasn't expecting the product to have any crazy tech features.Lastly, the case itself (not the battery) is very slim and offers nice protection for the size. It has slightly raised edges on the corners of the case to protect from drops, and the case itself sticks out about .5mm from the screen. Not a lifeproof or otterbox, but still fine. I have dropped my Iphone many times from holding it at waist/chest height and never had a crack occur.Overall a very unique and effective concept. I highly recommend this product for its convenience and easy of use. I have had it over 5 months and no issues yet! For the price, there is nothing like it!

Update: I liked this case so well I got on for my wife's S9. Within a few weeks of purchasing her case both stopped wirelessly charging. That took away all of the convenience for us. If I had to do it over I would not but either case. It was a great attempt and I would buy something that lasted longer immediately. Very disappointed.Very happy with the case and battery. If there was a slight recess in the case for the battery to rest in to make it harder for it get dislodged in a pocket it would be perfect. Still, best case I have every had for my S8.

I love this. No more broken tips from my charger. Freaken went through so many. What a waste. I love that i can pick up the phone and use it without me worrying about breaking that charger tip. Highly recommend. Love it. Going to order another for hubby unit.

Not a fast charger. Takes quite a while to charge, but that's okay to me. Also, the battery slides around a little more than I'd like, but aside from that, a good product.If the back of the case was rubber like the border, I think the battery would be more secure, and therefore, more stable and less likely to fall off, especially when holding or using the phone while the battery is connected.Just a thought.

Not too bulky w/ the charger attached. Charging speed is ok.

I've used portable chargers in the past but first time trying one that attaches to your phone (magnet). So much more convenient than carrying a cord! The case fit perfect and is well-made. Love this new way to charge on the go and would highly recommend!
