raised bed tomatoes, YUM !!
It was easy to assemble and made from fairly sturdy wood. I do wish they had put a sealer on the wood but we got ours early enough to put a sealer on the wood before moving on to planting. We painted the outside of ours to match our deck and it looks nice. We can't bend down to garden so we brought the garden up to us, it is all planted now we just tend it and wait for the fruits of our small labors. ps- the screws and small parts are packed ideally in shipping so that they are ever so easy to find when your package arrives.

Great planter for the money.
The instructions are a little difficult to decipher at first, but after you study them for a bit assembly is easy. All you need is a screwdriver. The slats have a good tight fit and very sturdy. It can be stain or painted, but looks good natural. Great planter for the money.

Inexpensive, sturdy planter.
I like this planter. It only took about 30 minutes to assemble, was super easy, and seems very sturdy. I have 6 tomato. 2 cucumber, 2 zucchini, 2 pepper, 3 strawberry and 4 onion plants in it currently, with plenty of room for them to grow. I will probably buy another before next spring.

Made better firewood than it did a garden bed
Easy put together, looks nice, burns nicely but that is about it. The interlock slide together corners unslid just as easily as they went together. Made a great lean-to until I could slide it back together again. The rabbits loved munching off what they could reach when it was in the lean-to phase after strong winds took it down the first 2 times. Not much grew in it: the box couldn't retain moisture, the boards split apart often drying out the plant roots faster, and just a complete pain in the ass to keep reassembling when it fell over--plants and all. However, it did make great firewood and smelled nice when it burned. So it has that going for it. It lasted maybe 3 months total.

it looks nice but very cheap materials. Wont last long. I did spray with water proof sealer in hopes it last longer

don't rush the assembly
first, be sure you have all the parts, then prime the wood before you assemble it and it would be a good idea to add some wood glue for extra strength and support as you assemble. If the sides do not slide down easily don't cut the boards, take a bar of soap and scrape it on the raw wood edge for easy sliding. Then when assembled paint with a good outdoor paint inside and out. You are not going to have to fill the entire thing with dirt, that will just make it heavy and rot the wood. Try adding Styrofoam blocks or other light weight filler in the bottom to use up the extra space. We decided to make it shorter so we cut a few inches of the legs before assembly, so the soft wood is an advantage.
