After having increasing difficulty in cleaning print heads in my HP Photosmart B9180, I replaced all four print heads and it is like a new printer. Even with occasional use that leaves it idle for a few days, prints are perfect and the heads never need cleaning.The print heads have their price, but it is far less than a new 8-ink or 10-ink printer, and that's just about what you get with new print heads.Replace them all at once because the print heads automatically realign and recalibrate when the printer sees that you change one. If one pair of colors needs a new print head, the others aren't far behind, and you will save time and ink by changing all the print heads at the same time.

Took some time to get to us. And several of the items were years over the expiry date. But did work....

These are replacement printheads for the Photosmart Pro B9180 printer. They are easily installed after removing the old printheads. The printer will realign the new heads, and you are ready to go.

Currently seems to be working fine.

Reason I bought this printer was to be able to replace the printheads. Having had printheads block on other manufactures expensive printers meaning they were scrap I wasn't going to add to the junk pile again. OK they are not cheap but a new printer is almost £500.

why are they then available to buy?I tried cleaning the printhead before buying one... you can tell how well that went.

Does what it's meant to do ...but the usual grumble about the price of inks.
