They Are Wonderful
Real starfish so they smell at first but if you unpack them and leave them in the open, the smell will gradually go away.I have one on my desk now, right next to me, as a part of decoration with seashells and candles and there's no smell left.They are really beautiful and arrived in excellent condition. Wonderful in nautical decorations if you'd like a little piece of seaside in your home.They are perfect for those who love using real nature to decorate with. Man-made things just don't have the same magic.

Look fantastic
Just as advertised. Arrived in tact. Very impressed. Look lovely. Do smell a little bit fishy as previous reviews said but not too bad. I’ve placed them in the container that used to hold washing tablets so hopefully they will absorb some of the smell. Would recommend. Very pleased.

Have they been ethically sourced? In many areas overharvesting of horned sea stars is a problem.

These starfish were perfect for my shop display, just what I wanted

The smell, omg the smell
They are so pretty, then you breath near them and your body decides to gag, and you have no control over it. I've soaked them for days in water and bicarbonate, I've soaked them in isopropyl alcohol, I've washed them under running water, aired them in the sun. Nothing has made a difference. A sikly sweetly decomposition stench that nothing seem to touch. I'm this close to binning them, I've already spent more in products to try and take off the smell than the value of the product
