I'm so excited to teach anyone and everyone that will listen now :)
From the beginning of reading this book, the Spirit of God stirred my heart with deeper desperation to know God more and make Him known in a powerful way. Many times the Spirit had me on my face crying out in repentance and asking for revival in my life and in His church. I heartily encourage everyone to read it, but even more to practice what is written in. I'm about to start a teaching/preaching with program with YWAM and I'm so excited to start putting this into practice! God is glorified through this book and it helps to glorify God even more in your life by teaching others to love Him more! You probably DO have the time to read this, because it's such a good use of time, but if you honestly don't have time to read the whole thing, I encourage you to at least memorize the law of the learner, which are first easy to memorize in the acronym "LEARNER" that is the first letter of these words:LearnerExpectationApplicationRetentionNeedEquippingRevivalAnd here the heart of each of those laws:1. The essence of the Law of the Learner is these three words: “Cause to learn.” The teacher should accept the responsibility of causing the student to learn. p. 38 2. The essence of the Law of Expectation is these three words: “Expect the best.” The teacher should influence his students’ learning and behavior by adjusting expectations. p. 105 3. The essence of the Law of Application is these four words: “Apply for life change.” The teacher should always teach for the purpose of life change. p. 161 4. The essence of the Law of Retention is these three words: “Master the minimum.” The teacher should enable all students to enjoy maximum mastery of the Irreducible minimum. p. 229 5. The essence of the Law of Need is these three words: “Build the need.” The teacher should build the need before teaching the content. (p. 303)6. The essence of the Law of Equipping is these three words: “Equip for service.” The teacher should train students for a life of service and edification. (p. 375). 7. The essence of the Law of Revival is these three words: “Revive the heart.” The teacher should encourage an ongoing personal revival in students’ lives. (p. 445)Read and be equipped to glorify our great and mighty God and build his kingdom!

Do not enter the Sunday school class without it
I recommend this for all teachers, but especially Christians because of its spiritual emphasis. The section on revival is sobering. The author is, needless to say, a renowned teacher.

Review- awesome book!
Thorough, practical, truth telling, grounded in Scripture, convincing and highly motivating to be the kind of teacher God has called us to be!

Defines a teacher's heart
This book is great for anyone who has not realized what teaching really means. The author is clear about the reason for teaching - not to impart information only, but to evoke changes in people's lives. This book is also good for giving ways to do this. His teaching methods are clear.I recommend this for all new teachers and for any experienced teachers who do see changes in theirs students' lives as the normal result of their teaching.

A book for all
As someone who sat under Bruce Wilkinson during his college classes, I really wanted to read this book. It's not that I'm a teacher now, but I serve in a project management role.A lot of the information taught in this book relates to working with people. Some of the information I need is from my technical staff - my role in learning. Some of the information I need is to be taught to the everyday user - the my role in teaching. While "Loving your students unconditionally" may not apply in the real world, it actually does.I find my co-workers respond better to someone who cares about them then by someone who is just doing the work.A must read book!

Fantastic
I would recommend this to anyone who teaches, especially in a Christian context. The '7 laws' have really made me think about how I approach teaching and how I can be most effective. Very thought-provoking and challenging.

Life-changing
Admittedly, this came to me when my mind was fertile ground. I’m convinced however that any teacher or preacher could read this is ANY season and be moved to growth in their teaching vocation. This is hands down the best book on teaching I have ever read.
