Ideal pressure care
Tried other boots more expensive, but these are the only ones to have worked to reduce pressure on heels for a bed bound patient.

Comfortable and warm
I like these as they keep my heels warm and or soft to walk over I'm relaxing so not a lot of pressure is on back of my feet.

Post Op Heaven despite hellish looks !
If you have ever have to do prolonged bed rest then these are what you need . I couldn’t believe how quickly my heels became sore after my knee replacement- literally a couple of days , I tried another type of boot but not nearly as padded and comfortable as these ! I think they saved me untold misery and certainly helped me sleep . Worth every penny.

Lush
These were bought as having to sleep on back at the moment and heels have started to become sore, due to the continuous pressure on them. Firstly, these are very comfortable and do the job. However, I have only given three as they could do with being longer so that they at least come half way down your feet. I have size 8 feet, which are long, so these literally just cover the heels. Whilst this might be fine for an older person who doesn’t move once lying down, I move a lot for comfort and this can cause the heel protector to slip off my heels. For this reason they could do with being longer or having two sets of straps.

Wouldn’t recommend
I didn’t like these - they had a rough backing material and caused a lot of skin flaking on my shins. Obviously due to me moving about in bed but even moisturising my legs didn’t help. They’ve been ok since stopping using them and alternative sore protectors used instead. Also problems with them staying in place.

Sheds fibres
They were comfy but all the fibres come off to put hairs everywhere. I have allergies so they were not suitable for me.

Fit for the purpose.
Can sleep well without pain to the heels.

Don’t allow you to move very well
Following surgery I can only sleep on my back & without protection I could well get bed sores on my heels. No doubt they are very comfortable but, I ended up stitching my old ones, which have a shiny nylon outer, to them so I could move my feet. These are sooo comfortable but they don’t slide across the sheet.
