MicW i436 for my application
Tools make your job easy and the mic on my iPad and iPhone was ok but, the MicW i436 made my Smaart Tools on my mobile device accurate.

Haven't gotten it to work correctly
I didn't really use the microphone much until a while after I bought it, but I just can't get it to work. I think it may be broken or something because no matter what I can't seem to record sound from it. I thought it was working but after a little investigation it was always just defaulting to the speakers from the iphone/ipad (tried on different devices). Even with a splitter. When I finally plugged it into an independent device with no built-in mic, no sound. Not sure if I'm missing something, but for me the microphone just doesnt seem to be working. But the size and portability is great, if I could figure out how to work it it would be perfect.

product looks good but too little information
As usual Amazon hides any real info about this product. But fortunately MicW has a decent website and lists some actual technical specs on the devices - frequency response, polar curves. Those look good. They don't mention durability testing or any 3rd party independent test results. I bought a similar good quality mic for my iphone and it broke after 1 year. Hope this one lasts longer.
