A bit small. Very warm. Compresses well.
The Marmot Ironwood 30 was a little small for my taste. I'm 6ft tall (170lbs) and should have chosen the 6ft 6in version. It's also very narrow in the center, so it's nearly impossible to sleep on your side because you can't have one of your legs spread slightly out. I love the front pocket for my inflatable camp pillow and my earplugs (other Scout Dads snore). I bought this for its ability to compress small with a (purchased separately) compression bag. This 30 Down bag compressed to about half the size of my son's 30 synthetic bag which freed up room in our canoe drybags. The weather for our Northern Tier canoe trip was 48-52 most nights and this bag was actually hot, so I had to keep the zipper open. Great bag for the money, but I wish it was larger in the middle. If it came with a compression bag, that would have made my decision much easier when purchasing. I do like the large airy sack that came with it for home storage.

If you’re anything like me, You don’t trust reviews
So, here is the basics. I’m 6’4” tall. I weigh 260lbs and I’m a big guy xxl shirts and all. This bag has a comfort rating of 27 degrees. I also am a warm sleeper. It was 24 degrees and snowing and I was warm all night. I had on a base layer, no socks or hat. It was perfect. The bag was big enough for me to roll around inside it and the mummy hood closes down to about the size of a quarter. The zipper works perfect and never snagged once. I will say that the zipper works incredibly well. So we’ll that with a lot of moving around it will work it’s way down. Once I closed the hood it never did it again. There are several little bonuses as well. The zipper ends glow in the dark and the hood pulls are different. One is a round cord and the other is a flat ribbon to keep them separate when you’re in the dark and trying to tighten it up. The bag is light weight and will compress down small. I don’t bother with those anymore and just stuff it in my pack. I am super pleased with the purchase and definitely buy again. This is a warm big bag and a great price for it. 100% would buy again.

Light, Comfortable Material
Bought the regular size on sale for $140. Used it a few times now. I'm 6' 200lb muscular build in the regular. The height is perfect, if I was 6'1", probably a little cramped. The width is not for a muscular build... zipping ALL the way up is very hard to do. Luckily, my nordic blood makes me sweat at night, so I just leave it unzipped even if it's in the 40's and I'm fine. I've got another 0deg bag for anything freezing and under. Very comfortable material, lightweight, but doesn't come with a storage bag. I recommend buying a cheap cotton laundry sack to store it in, keeping the fill from compressing too much.

I love this sleeping bag
This bag is so comfortable. It keeps me warm and snuggly whenever I use it. I do not believe it would be comfortable at 30 degrees outside. It was great at 40 degrees, wearing sweats. I love this sleeping bag!

Perfect companion for any serious hiker/backpacker
I was pretty skeptical of this product when I got it as it was heavily discounted, but when I used it for the first time, I became a really happy customer! It's light, easy to pack, and pretty comfy. I also bought a compression sack so I can put it in my backpack and it made a difference. I highly recommend it if you are looking for value for your money and a quality product.Note: It's 3 seasons and it does come with a compression sack but I got a different one to compress it even more. I would use it for: camping, backpacking, mountain camping and backcountry camping.

Wrong description and size but overall very warm and amazing sleeping bag
Overall very warm and amazing sleeping bag. Easy to put away as it includes a large enough bag where you can stuff the sleeping bag in. But the only reason why it was 4 stars cause the description of the size is incorrect, contacted Marmot company via email and they said it 'was the wrong description and size as the long one is 1 inch longer'.
