NOT CEREMONIAL GRADE
Anybody with any matcha experience knows that this is NOT ceremonial grade matcha. This 100% culinary grade. The color is not vibrant, and there is significant bitterness. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and messaged them before posting this review to ask if there was a mistake or if I may have received a bad batch, and the response was:"All of our matcha is ceremonial grade. We have no other kind. Thank you for being a Wild customer!"If you are buying this expecting ceremonial grade, you WILL be disappointed. If I had known what this was before hand, I would have made a different choice. Don't make my mistake!

The color is still a vibrant green and tastes great. Another awesome product from Wild Foods to keep ...
I'm impressed with the quality of this product since it is the "lower" quality of the matchas that Wild Foods offers. I started with the 1st Ceremonial grade and it's delicious, but due to price I purchased this more affordable bag for use in smoothies, oatmeal, etc. The color is still a vibrant green and tastes great. Another awesome product from Wild Foods to keep in my pantry.

great stuff indeed, but should be sold in packs of smaller pouchs
Bought it for its presumed health benefits. Was pleasingly surprised that I *loved* the taste too, to the point of "getting hooked".This is my first Matcha, and apparently a new staple drink for me.I only tried it raw, in water, with sugar. The taste depends A LOT on how much sugar you use: find your own "golden ratio".The caffeine "kick": there's certainly one, although initially less noticeable (with longer onset) than the one of brewed black or green teas.It seems to last longer too, and feels a bit different than any of the caffeine-containing stuff I ever had.(this includes Guarana, Yerba Mate, and Guayusa)The Wild Matcha itself:- it's not "emerald green", more like "deep green" - just like pictured.Looks like matcha's color is not a reliable indicator of grade or quality after all: this stuff smells and tastes great anyway.- there's surprisingly little bitterness, and it's a rather pleasant one. I'd probably like MORE of it, not less.(so I stopped considering "ceremonial grade" Matcha)- there's a bit of clumping sometimes, but I found these little clumps add extra "zing" to the already great taste, so I just leave them there. It's not too hard to get rid of them completely, but why bother?Overall I'm impressed how easily this stuff mixes: much easier than my sport supplements, or anything else I can remember.I never felt a need for a mixer or even a whisk: a teaspoon, and a half a minute of your time (till sugar dissolves) is all it takes. My biggest complain is price: the 8oz pouch I ordered was half-empty in a few days, so I'm looking at $50 a month just for this one tea. Grrrrr! And it doesn't smell as fresh as it used to anymore, even though I stored it in refrigerator all the time.Wish it was offered via Subscribe-and-Save, and in packs of smaller pouches (1-2oz).

Wild Foods had a great website with a lot of content and sent along ...
I bought this because my four year old neighbor and I share the same penchant for matcha green tea. I saw it on a list of amazon recommendations and decided to give it a whirl. Wild Foods had a great website with a lot of content and sent along a bonus package of "Wild Chocolate Powder" and a couple of hand written notes. I wouldn't have chosen the powder but I look forward to trying it now!. The Matcha was a little bit fussy and it wasn't the easiest to find the instructions. However, their instructions made a very good cup of tea! The method of creating a paste with cold water first made a big difference taste wise.I really enjoyed the fresh flavor of the tea. Hector, my little tea loving buddy, really liked it too. His mom and I were worried he wouldn't like the more "grown up" taste of Wild Matcha #2 but he sure went for it and liked it a lot! So it's Hector tested, and Hector recommended, if that means anything to you. And it should.

Change is not always good!
I have been drinking Matcha green tea for a few years now, I decided I would try a cheaper brand than what I have been drinking. Big mistake, The color is not pretty, it has a grassy taste, it does not froth at all and this one give me an upset stomach. I tried to like it, couldn't do it!!! I will go back to my regular brands.

This is not ceremonial grade
It's clearly culinary grade. Color is vibrant compared to other value matchas and it the powder is somewhat fine. Presentation is great but taste is crucial. If this was advertised as high quality culinary grade I'd be happy to give this a five star review, I just don't like false advertisement.

It is the best green tea I have tasted
I drink 1/2 teaspoon in 12 ozs of water. It is the best green tea I have tasted. I usually by green tea in the Asian Markets Wild is very very good tasting tea -- hot or cold.

Going to subscribe monthly
This is definitely the best Matcha for the value. It is 4 ounces and most come in less than 1 ounce and very pricey. It was easy to stir without using the macho whisk. The flavor is great and will subscribe monthly to this product.

Adding To Subscribe & Save
I’m really impressed with this matcha. It was earthy and smooth and blended up really well with my moolatte. And a nice, clean caffeine buzz (I can’t drink coffee because of the caffeine jitters, so this was a nice alternative). Adding to my subscribe and save because I know I’ll want this auto delivered on the regular.

Really cool company, great products
I blend this with hot water, stevia, and cocoa butter. It makes a yummy matcha keto drink. I'm almost out and need to order some more. This company is really cool, I'm starting to buy more and more stuff from them.

and Wild Matcha #2 is my favorite! It tastes terrific and best of all
I have tried many different brands of ceremonial macha tea, and Wild Matcha #2 is my favorite! It tastes terrific and best of all, it disolves easily! The company packages the item well and offers helpful emails.

Matcha Tea
Just matcha! This has a decent flavor and is good for the value although I have had better. I would purchase again.

Taste not good
Flavor not fresh like true ceremonial matcha. Tastes dirtish. Had to buy different brand. Wish I could return this one.

Good stuff!
This matcha really does bring a lot of energy that lasts throughout the day. I haven't needed my afternoon cup of coffee since using this, which is saying a lot. I have only used these in my green smoothies(1/2 tsp), and although I'm not a fan of the taste, I find that adding citrus and ginger or mint leaves helps mask the taste.

One Star
Bitter matcha with an unpleasant aftertaste. Compares poorly with other brands I've tried.
