Not recommended to use as an office chair
I needed a chair to help prevent worsening of my aging back with compressed discs. There is not enough adjustment between the seat and the kneeling pad. The seat telescopes but it makes the angle worse to the kneeling pad if tall. I am 6' 1" tall and am able to maneuver to a reasonably comfortable position but I still find myself on the front half of the seat and my knees hanging over the pad when I use it. Either pad contains standard foam and as an office chair, which is how I am using it, does not last for more than a couple of hours and both pads become completely compressed (I weigh ~ 200lbs). I tried using the back rest at the very beginning but it doesn't adjust well and tends to promote a lean forward. I never could get it to feel like a back rest. I found myself always pushing against it so I wouldn't recommend for this feature.I have had my chair for about 6 years now and it has started to fail. After the 1st year of use I had to purchase a memory foam pad to lay over the knee and seat as the foam had nearly flattened completely with no spring left. After year 3 the telescoping seat adjustment stopped working and is stuck at the lowest position. I find myself using it more like a stool and rarely keeling on the pad.Recently I had to have the seat post re-welded as it finally fatigued and broke but a quick fix and working again. I would not recommend this for an office chair due to the cheap padding and minimal adjustment. If you have a serious back concern and need a specialized office chair such as this, I would recommend a better quality chair with high quality memory foam.

Mostly good
I really like my chair, but it did not come the way I now use it. It was difficult to assemble, and when completed, I thought I was going to hate it. The back rest was horribly uncomfortable; I think it was designed for a shorter person than I, and it was not at all adjustable. I thought about sending it back, but instead I removed the back. The chair works well now, and it is easier to get on and off it without the back. The wheels are really nice, and eliminate one other problem of some other posture chairs (turning to other tasks).

Ok if you leave the back off
I love kneeling chairs. I'm short, so usually in order to reach the keyboard, my feet are dangling, and with this I can have my legs tucked up under me, just peachy. The BIGGEST problem is that the back of the chair has no adjustment capabilities, and forces you to hunch over pretty far. I bought the chair because it looked more versatile- I could sit back normally, or use the kneel pad. But, with the back on, the chair is completely useless. So, I took it apart, and put it back together WITHOUT the back. Now it's just fine!

Good product for the price
I bought this over a year ago. It has really been a great bargain for the price. It has drastically reduced the number of times I have to see a chiropractor. The screws on the shin rest have to be tightened about once a month or so. Otherwise it has been a very good product. It was a little confusing putting it together and I had to take it apart and start over at one point. However, after that it went fairly smoothly. I am thinking about ordering another one for my house.

I wanted to improve my posture while sitting
It *does* cause one to sit up straight but having not spent much time in Knee chairs before, I soon discovered that they are not good for a 2-3 hour sitting. Also, as so many others have said, the backrest had to have the spring removed for it to be useable.

Ouch
Not for older folks. The build quality is good, but if your my age 53, the chair puts too much of a load on your shins, so you are constantly adjusting for something that feels more comfortable.

I appreciate this chair for giving my back a break from the traditional chair. The tilt and redistribution of weight are relieving. I am having to leave the back off for now as it make sitting angle too pitched forward and left the bumper thingies off of the bottom of the lower leg cushions for less cramped feel and so feet could touch ground. Otherwise happy.

Chair might be all right for some.
I had to get rid of this chair after much internal debate. I originally got it because I had one in the '70s and it was very comfortable. I am willing to believe that the reason it hurt my knees so much this time is because I am older now.
