Quick Look Drug Book, 2013 1st Edition

This book has been wonderful and I am very glad that I purchased it. When listening to a dictator speak who sounds like he may also be chewing marbles, sometimes it is extremely hard to understand what drug he rattled off. This book has sections under most words that include the "sounds like" and "often confused with" other words, and their definitions. Wonderful! The book is also big enough that my aging eyes can easily read the pages, and the format of each page makes it easy to see the word you are looking for. I use it daily and am thankful to the instructor who recommended it.

I bought this for my busy and well-educated nurse to use at the nurse's station and desk. It is used all the time.My only critique is that specific half-lives are not mentioned.Otherwise, it is a great reference for quick info. It is reasonable in price, and encourages generic first/ trade name later views.

Just got it today, and am already using it for work. Most up to date drugs that I can find other than on internet. I think book used to have pictures of some drugs, but maybe am mistaken about that. If so, miss those pictures. But otherwise, wonderful book which contains more information than drug information, I have found out. Will probably order again in the future.

The book was brand new and I got it for super - super cheap. Bonus.... it even had the online code for online access. Just what a transcriptionist needs.

Very easy to find what you are looking for. Shows both the generic names and brand names. Also includes a "sounds like" which helps you find the correct drug even if you are not quite sure how to spell it. This is one of my favorite Medical Transcription books.

I have gotten past editions of this particular drug book and have always been pleased. It is very complete and concise.

This book is easy to navigate through. Even sectioned off into drugs used for various disorders. Easy to read and easy to find things. This is my favourite drug book.

Aside from the CPS (Canadian) I believe this reference book is one of the best pharmaceutical reference books available. It has excellent cross referencing and is easy to search and read.
