Best tool - owns two now. No messes - rim catches juices and pips. Gets the most juice out of your fruit; flat surfaces also allows it to be placed on a working surface to press/ squeeze when extra pressure is needed. Previously a Zyliss brand item and my old one still works well too.

If you're looking to get a citrus press, look no further.If you already have a press that isn't this one, throw it away and get this press instead.I bought this press to to replace a generic press I was very unhappy with. My old press took a lot of hand strength, never seemed to fully juice the lemon, and broke at the hinge after only 2-3 uses. It was one of those usual smooth metal presses with holes on the bottom you see hundred of everywhere, and it couldn't hope to compare to the Westmark.This citrus press totally destroys whatever citrus you press with it. The yellow ridges inside the cup immediately dig into the flesh of the fruit allowing maximum juice to flow out. It also makes it easy to squeeze, so it isn't hard on your hands. It's hefty, but not too heavy and a beautiful size that's easy to manage. As a bonus, the juice doesn't spill out of holes in the bottom, it catches in the cup and has a convenient pour spout for dispensing your squeezings. This press is also very easy to clean, and catches any seeds in it's ridges. After pouring out the juice, you just pull out the remains of the fruit, and give it a quick rinse under a sink to wash out excess oils and seeds.I seriously cannot recommend this press highly enough. It's everything I wanted in a citrus press and more. Using it actually makes me feel happy. Look no further, throw out your old press, the Westmark manual citrus and juice press all you've ever wanted and all you'll ever need. If I could, I would give it twice the stars.

The juicer does feel solid, and seems durable. Only time will tell. It does an great job with limes and lemons - very impressed with the amount of juice it manages to extract. Oranges? Small ones will work, but not larger ones - they simply don't fit, and if you force them, you'll make a mess. It does take some squeeze force, but it does not seem unreasonable. Feels nice enough in the hands.For some reason, I was under the impression that the plastic portions were removable. They are not - so the cup with the fins is more challenging to clean - if you prefer to hand wash that is. I use a toothbrush and that works well, otherwise it's not so bad. Will have to see over the long term just how well the finish holds up.One of the reasons I bought this was because it was Made in Germany - not China. Well worth the cost, at maybe double a Chinese-made one, especially for the performance. Packaging? Could be better - I like detail. This was also just tossed into an unprotected plastic envelope for shipping, so its box was mashed, but the juicer itself was fine. Part of why it's a 4-star review, and not 5.Yes, at this point - I do recommend it for smaller citrus.

Excellent Juicer. Matfer juicer was able to squeeze more juice out of the lemon after Amazon's #1 selling juicer was done. Matfer juice has a simple construction, sturdy and a pleasure to use. It is made in Germany.

I bought several hand lemon juicers and this is my favorite one hands down. I love that you can squeeze the lemon and it holds the juice until you are ready to pour it. When measuring lemon juice the spout is so helpful, it perfectly aims the juice into the measuring spoon. Also I felt that this juicer squeezed more juice than traditional hand juicers. The size is large enough for all lemons, maybe even oranges. The only thing I would change is the plastic. I wish it was all metal. Highly recommended.

Thought this squeezer might end the hunt, but it didn't. It's better than others but there are some weak links. Cleaning is more demanding due to the plastic fluted inserts that can get clogged with debris during operation. It does seem to get more juice out than others. One pain point is the lack of leverage – it's hard to really squeeze wth such short and skinny handles. The handles should be longer or employ a geared system to increase squeezing power. And it has a very small pivot pin. This pin will be the failure point if it breaks. The hunt continues for a bulletproof tank of a lemon squeezer that will never break.

Such an improvement over the other, painted aluminum juicers you see everywhere. Get this one. It's so well designed and well made, and it gets all the juice out. Really happy with this purchase.

Not practical. Designed only for lemon so a larger orange will not fit well. Does not extract Juice well even if you use top force.Will be returning. Also received a badly damaged box, clearly someone else returned and they shipped to me, but that’s not the reason I am returning.

Good sturdy hand press. Small/medium oranges fit just fine. Cleans well under the tap.
