Before people decide to buy what is called a "SEASON PASS" for the newest UPCOMING (key word, UPCOMING) SEASON of The Magicians, please realize that YOU CANNOT WATCH ALL OF THE EPISODES RIGHT AWAY as the EPISODES HAVE NOT EVEN AIRED ON THE ORIGINAL CHANNEL YET!!! I'm SO SICK of people COMPLAINING after they've bought the season only to realize THERE ARE NO EPISODES, and then UNFAIRLY GIVE THE SHOW ONE STAR and THREATEN TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM AMAZON VIDEO. A SEASON PASS means you will be able to watch each episode the DAY AFTER it airs! Do not blame Amazon Video and then GIVE THIS SHOW ONE STAR simply because you cannot read the description of what you are buying!

See, now I have to offset one star reviews for a season that HASN’T AIRED ON TV YET because apparently people forgot how to google when a season premiers. I know we live in a world of instant access and binge watching.... but don’t you dare drag down such an amazing show before it’s even had a chance to actually let us down! 😂All my love.I recommend the TVShowAlert App to keep up with the release dates of shows and new episodes.

This show is awesome. I have read the books and can tell you that it does diverge from them, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I keep wanting to say you could think of it as if Harry Potter were written for adults, but honestly it's much more immersive and real than HP ever was. It also gets a whole lot darker than Harry Potter ever did. Yeah there are quite a few "trigger moments" in the narrative, but that's just one of the things that makes you that much more invested in the lives of the main characters.On a technical side, the digital effects are amazing. It really makes magic seem totally plausible and adds to the immersion factor. The acting is pretty great. When compared with the books, you can really see how well each actor/actress pulls off their role. Thankfully, especially in Quentin's case, they also make the characters much more relatable. Some of the aspects of his character were incredibly frustrating to read. I'm happy with the way Jason took his character.I feel that the writers skipped over a ton of what happened with Julia before she because part of Team Save-Magic (and everyone from dieing terrible, gory, excruciating deaths). Her character in the books is incredibly different than the Julia that Stella portrays. I do wish that the writers made Julia a little head strong and bold than she is in the show.My only truly negative remark is there are not enough episodes in each season. I feel like we miss a lot of what goes on with each plot line.

I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes when they come out! Once a week, kids!

I'm 2 episodes in and wow, this season is off to a great start. We're in a territory not traveled in the books and that could have gone in a very disappointing direction. In spite of the Cheerio planets that I don't remember from previous seasons, the world building continues to be strong. No gimmicky cube worlds here. Dark, compelling, surprising, delightful. I have every hope that this season will continue to be a pleaser.

I really like this show. This is coming from a person who really didn't get into the Harry Potter series, but I saw 1-3 seasons on Netflix and coulnd't wait for season 4 so I bought the season pass. Was not disappointed. Unlike other series that run out of ideas, this series has stayed strong in terms of creative and engaging storylines and character development that does not disappoint. I fell in love with all the characters, even Penny and Josh, and yes even Todd; but especially I loved Margo and Elliot. Half-Spoiler: as a gen x person, I think that the homosexual/bisexual element of shows is sometimes heavy handed and crowbarred into shows as a sometimes needless fourthwave feminism propaganda, but in this series the depiction of a bisexual relationship was THE most authentic one I've seen, and it was easy to empathize with because of it. I have to admit, I love the Eliot and Margo characters and their love for each other, and I wish they were my very own friends in real life. I know that's a dumb thing to say but In my estimation it speaks to the strength of the writing of this show---very well done writers.I think even people who aren't really enamored with the fantasy/magic genre will find that this is refreshingly interesting series depicting a sufficiently plausible, 'complex adult' magic system, even to those scientifically inclined folks who would normally laugh it off. (I fall into this category mostly)The fillory element provides enough comic relief for this to be a genre busting / cross genre show that takes itself only half seriously; and I just love this. Fillory allows them to always suprise the audience with infinite plot twistsFinally, although I am often frustrated by the politics and idealism and most specifically the APPROPRIATION of my youth (by both millenials AND hollywood, in their vain attempts to reboot a reboot-resistant era of the late 1970s-1980s), I have to say that this show's fourth season representations of 1980s music was not only respectfully done, it was beautiful and I'm thankful that they recreated our favorite 1980s music so well. All these actors are so talented, and their singing was so perfect. Brought tears to my eyes honestly--the ending score was astonishing in fact

Delivered on time 👍, Blu-ray Series 4 Magicians ,the Multiverse of magic continues , after watching this 4th series it's definitely made for a Millennials glad there's been no more males kissing ,have had to cover my eyes in previous series ,being a Straight Man , otherwise fun movie and song references .

So different from the previous three series. I watched 3 episodes, and gave up.
