Silikomart Silicone Chocolate Mould Rose, Brown (SCG13)

I was hoping to make rose-shaped chocolates with a filling inside, and the product dimensions seemed big enough, but it wasn't really. That was a disappointment, though I cannot blame anyone but myself for the misconception, since the product dimensions were accurately listed -- it seemed bigger in my mind, big enough for a filling, but it wasn't really. Other than that, it is great -- releases well and all that -- so if you're wanting to make just chocolates or soap or something solid, that's good; but if you want to make filled candies, you'll want a bigger mold because it's just too small for that.

Love the mold. I have used to make pretty ice cubes and for chocolate truffles. My grandkids painted the mold with dark chocolate and we set it up in the fridge. I like the thickness of the mold: easy for these teens to handle but thin enough that we could see light through the places we had missed. Then we piped the truffle cream in and covered with a thin layer of chocolate. The candy set up very quickly in the fridge (20 minutes) and then popped right out of the mold. Very few damaged candies. And the shape is very pretty.

I've used this several times to make chocolate and i have to say it's quite difficult to get all the bubbles out. Since you can't tap it as you do with other trays, I had to roll it across the table to get the air out. It works but you just have to do it A LOT to get it all out. Besides that, the chocolates came out very nice and they are VERY easy to get out.

I like the product. The roses came out great. However my only disappointment is the size. It's teeny tiny. The pictures show little bigger size but in actuality, the roses are too small. I wanted to stuff a pecan in my rose chocolates but you can fit only a peanut for stuffing..

I bought these to make my own chocolate. The molds were more flimsy than I expected, but the chocolate came out of the molds very cleanly. I would buy them again. Just don't plant on moving the molds until the candy/chocolate has solidified. (Or place them on a cookie sheet to move.)

This is one of the easiest molds to use and the end product looks amazing. The rubber is flexible but very sturdy so you can make all sorts of things from shortbread to gummy roses to truffles. Due to the price I originally only got one, but I shall be getting more shortly. Also - dishwasher safe :)

I used this mold to make bath melts and it was perfect for that. I imagine it would be great for chocolates and I'm also planning to use this to mold sugar as a prettier substitute for sugar cubes next time I have or go to a tea party. The silicone makes unmolding extremely easy.

The product is everything it should be but the photo shows two molds but you only receive one. I thought they came in pairs, I should have read the description more closely.

Very small, but I suppose that is obvious from the picture. The silicone is fairly thick and of good quality.
