Quiet and moves the air!
In my lifetime I've put up several but age is catching up. I've decided that women need to write the instructions. Two guys, yes two, over two days. I finally took the motor away from them, threaded the wires MY way and handed it back. Oh, says he. That's what you meant by doing it in reverse. Five minutes later it was up.

Really cool fan
I usually buy the least expensive items, but I really needed a fan for the barn that actually blows air. This one does pretty well for a 24x24 barn. It is in the center. I love the speeds of the fan and the dimming of the light. And the remote that works from the front door of the house. 2 thumbs up.

It looks great...is quiet...and pull chain is super effective with no "snag" when pulling.

Can't even tell it's on
I ordered this for my small patio. I can't even feel the breeze. There was one already there when I bought the house that had the big plastic wicker-looking blades, but they were like $300-$400 so I bought this one because it had such good reviews. I'm so disappointed. I would return it, but it's already installed. I looked at the speed and at the moment I can't recall what the details were, but it claimed to be fast. I'm literally sitting directly under it (with a 7 foot ceiling) and can't even tell it's on. :-(
