The media could not be loaded. I bought this horn a little while back and I just installed it. I did use separate wires and a different button though, but the wires that came with a did seem good quality. It sounds exactly like the horns from the general lee. The media could not be loaded. I mounted these to the frame under the front bumper of my 2015 Ram 1500. Flat steel strip from Lowe's (one with holes pre punched) a lot of the wraps to super secure the horns. Hoses cut to 13 inches. I replaced the included in-line glass bussman fuse with a bladed fuse holder and extended that wire so it would be easily accessible if/when it blows. All in all, I probably spend an additional $20 bucks on Misc additional pieces. Most of which any nominal handy man would just have laying around his workbench. Also numbered and labeled the horns and Air compressor outlets. Trust me, if those colored bands come off, you'll wish you'd taken 60 seconds to mark your parts and ports. Perfect sound and tempo. I've heard some that seemed too fast. Just awesome! ...even if my Girl Friend shakes her head every time I use it :) There is no reason this product won't fit any vehicle ( car, truck, boat, atv, what ever) as long as you have a 12v power supply and a suitable mounting location. Remember that exposure to weather will reduce your life expectancy, the hoses need to be the SAME length and not TOO long. (I had about 1.5" left when I cut mine to 13")

I gave it 5 stars even though the wires weren't long enough. I had to run to the store to get more 14g wire, and more wire butt connectors. Overall, I would consider this a pretty easy install, once you are able to figure out how you're going to mount it. I would recommend some kind of wire pulling stick, to run under front bumper, and to run though the firewall. I mounted the button on the topside of a center console cubby so the wires and button were generally hidden. I'd prefer the button only need to be pushed, instead of held down, but not sure what all that would entail. Loud! Fairly easy to do. And did it in under 2 hours.Update: blew the fuse under minimal use. Put a 25amp fuse to replace. Easy to do if you mount the fuse shroud in an easy to get to place. Still 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. Wow I love this horn but some things disappointed me. This was an all day install so be prepared. It says you can hook to factory horn wires but you can not! Not enough power. The horns look nice but are cheap plastic. One chipped a chunk off during install and not even sure how. The horn cap is very loose n doesn't stay on tight. Could be better built. The 5 horns and compressor take up alot of room as you can see. Most newer vehicle don't have room so good luck. I went to tractor supply n got a mounting bracket n attached them all to it. Good thing I upgraded the air intake or I would not have had enough room anywhere. The compressor is loud as you can hear in my video but not too loud. Note, You have to hold the button down during the entire 11 notes. Which is a little annoying. But that all being said they sound good n loud. I turn heads Everytime I hit the button. 😎

The media could not be loaded. Compressor and horns work great. Does not come with enough air line to run all horns, most likely you’ll need to get some extra vacuum hose. The momentary switch it complete trash, not a big deal you can get a good one at a parts store for $10. The included butt connectors are also worthless, I recommend soldering the joints. The horn mounting brackets can be easily bent depending on how you are installing them. Good product for the money but don’t expect to only use the included parts for install

I gave this 3 stars because it’s not heavy duty enough.That said, it works fine as it should. Sounds good and is a joy to ride around and sound off.I installed this on my 17yr olds truck. I would be willing to say that it has been honked at least 5-10 times a day for roughly 6 months. So it had been put to a test!The cons- I have had to work on it a couple of times. I am not one to read directions and don’t know if it said to oil it or not. I have had to spay the compressor and trumpets with oil to lube them up. The compressor had a white chalkie powder coming out of the ports. It had gotten down to where it would not play all the tune. Was skipping notes. After oiling it about 3-4 times it came back to life.Another thing, the plastic trumpets aren’t worth a dang. They will break easily and strips out in the threads when you tighten them up.I would recommend this horn because my son has tested it out thoroughly ! I am also sure that all the rest of the Dixie horns on Amazon are just as cheap.

I’ve never installed a horn let alone a custom one. Easy instructions made it fun to install! Had to do some modifying to make a bracket to hold the horns and had to bend the horn mounting brackets 90 degrees to fit onto a home made mounting bracket. Took a couple hours, but that’s coming from someone who has never installed one. You will have to do some minor customizations to your vehicle but the end result is well worth it! Definitely take the time to measure the tubes as it is IMPORTANT you do so. Quality horn! Works great and will definitely buy more for a few of my other cars
