Garden Hose Lightweight Durable Flexible Water Hose with 3/4 Nozzle Solid Brass Connector and High Pressure Water Spray Nozzle Expanding Hoses (50)

this 50' hyrixdirect hose is my 1st flexible hose purchase! always felt they were gimmicky, so when a hose was needed, i'd buy the more traditional rubber type.so far, it's made it through one spring/summer season here in nc and it's always left outside enduring the elements. so here's what i can report: 1) it behaves as described - very light-weight, expands and contracts once the water is off and drained. 2) very good flow and the shut-off valve provides a nice touch 3) does not kink like pretty much all of my so-called "tangle-free" rubber hoses do after some usei'm seeing some signs of wear (fraying) on the outer covering. that material appears to be cloth-like - unsure, but it does not appear to be essential, should it breach. this hose is sooo convenient, should it not make it through another season, i'd still repurchase. it collapses quickly and it's ez to "hide" behind a bush without making the yard unsightly.

I love this hose and you will too but it does have one major flaw. The hose is only full when the water is turned on. There is a clever on/off switch at the end of the hose that if turned off the hose remain long. This gives you the ability to stretch the hose out in your lawn, but this is where the problem comes in. If you want to use a sprinkler head you have to have the hose switch in the off position to stretch it out in your lawn. This means you have to be face to face with your sprinkler head to turn it on. Let’s just say when you release the pressure you will get very wet!!! The normal pinch the hose trick does not work on this hose.So if you buy this hose know that it’s best for watering plants and washing the car. It does these thing very well it’s light flexible, and when turned of becomes really small!

I like this hose a lot more than I thought I would. I don't know how well they hold up, but it seems like a much better alternative to my previous hose, which was heavy and constantly kinking. I use this for watering my garden with a sprayer. It's perfectly suited for that, although I do think the water pressure is lower. It still has a good reach when I'm trying to spray the far corners of the yard (should have gotten a longer one), but I don't know how good it would be for washing cars or driveways. I hope it's durable; I try not to pull it taut, and I always empty it when done to relieve pressure. I'll probably buy another one for the other side of the house.

I loved this hose because it is so light weight and easy to move around the yard as I water! Then, I went on vacation and the hose burst and ran for days while I was gone. That water bill was insane. I bought 2 more, thinking it was a fluke but every single one did this!

LOVE this! I’ve never had an expandable hose before. I hadn’t planned to buy a new hose, but my kids left our old hose on all night, and the pressure finally busted a hole in it. We were already scheduled to put in new landscaping, so I needed a new hose ASAP to be able to water the new plants. I’d dealt with kinks in our old hose a lot, which was super frustrating, so I decided to give this a go in hopes of solving that problem. When it arrived I was shocked at how light it was and how small the box was! I hooked it up, turned on the water and watched it expand. It was actually quite amazing to watch. I don’t know what I expected, but it shrinks itself back down when you turn the water off. It’s really neat and takes up so much less room than our old hose. I haven’t had any trouble with kinks in the hose, and the sprayer that comes with it is awesome, too. I’m very pleased!

We have three hose spigots on our house. I had one, 100' hose that made it very difficult to unscrew and move, dragging the 100' of hose with me to the other side of the house. I purchased this hose for the front because it can be compact and small, easy to hide. The connectors seem to be durable and the included sprayer nozzle means I have one that I can leave connected to the house instead of having to transfer the nozzles from hose to hose. I tried to use this house as a drain for my pool but the pressure from the pool wasn't enough--bummer but I had to try. 50' length is still easy to move, not too heavy, and gives you a nice coverage area before having to unhook and move the hose. Hoping this lasts for many seasons, but I will update if it doesn't!

I really like this hose but you are lucky if it lasts a year. I had my first one replaced for free by the manufacture after the hose broke right at the connector. The first one lasted about 8 months. The next one lasted about 10 months. I was told there was a two-year warranty but I can no longer find the contact for the manufacture. I will buy from another vendor that has a 10-year warranty. It's one of the original manufacturers of this type of hose which have been in business for 25 years. If the manufacture is reading these, please leave a comment on how to get a replacement. I always drained the hose after use and it was on the shady side of the house. Great when it works. Thanks.

I'm sorry to my lawn and garden for not buying this hose sooner. I've been fumbling with old school hard exterior heavy hoses that leaked at every joint for several years now. Gone are the days of running back and forth to the wall to turn off and on the spigot, as this hose has an integrated ball valve. Gone are the days of having a small stream of water leak onto my shorts making it look like I've wet myself after watering the flowers. Gone are the days I complain about trying the dewind the hose to get rid of 10 kinks that shut off my water supply unexpectedly. Go ahead and save yourself time everyday during the summer and buy yourself this high quality hose.
