Aquarius Card Game - Elemental Strategy for 2-5 Players

Been playing this since I was a kid, thank you Gencon! Fun for all ages since it’s easy to play with colorful pictures make it even better :)

Aquarius is a wonderful game. It’s super easy to learn/understand, and I love the elements of the game that involve interaction with other players. Your friend could be one move away from winning, and then you could play a “swap goals” card and win the game yourself! I also like that the game has different sets of rules/gameplay for younger kids; starting with just matching elements all the way up to the full game. I simply cannot recommend it enough— it’s a gem for any type of player. I would especially recommend it if you’re someone who tends to play more “basic” board games (monopoly, clue, sorry) and wants to get into somewhat more advanced board games (love letter, coup, sushi go, 7 wonders). Just a fantastic game all around.

I bought this game many years ago and I recently introduced it to a little girl that is related to my wife. She liked it a lot (7 yo) and was pretty good at it, she beat me a few times! I bought this copy for her birthday and I'll continue gifting this simple game to others in the future.

I used to keep this in my purse for our once a month family dinner out - just me and three kids. There’s no reading and it’s brightly colored. It’s competitive at all ages and fun with two people or a crowd. I just bought this replacement pack when my kid went to college and took our deck with her.

This came is wonderful for an ultra-portable game. It is easy to teach, and fun to play. The cards create a pleasingly colorful palette. I love that I can just stick the deck into a bag and have something ready to play with friends at a moments notice. The action cards help the game not get stuck in a holding pattern because your goal or hand of cards could change at a moments notice. If you like planning out your moves 4 steps in advance, this is not the game for you. If you want a fun game that you can play while socializing, this is great! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars for durability is that it is a deck of cards. As with any cards, they are prone to bending or wearing at the corners. This deck is not any more prone than other cards in that regard.

Hubby and I sit down after the kids go to bed and fight over who is lying the most :) We enjoy this game. It is easy to pick up and fun to play. It is also great for our year old. He loves trying to match everything together and playing with us. We keep ours a secret and help him out but it is so easy for them to pick up. I highly recommend for a family game.

I bought this for my husbands 4 year anniversary gift since it has flowers on it. We have enjoyed playing this just the two of us and have enjoyed it with 5 players. The game is easy to learn and easy to teach. highly recommend.

This is one of only a few games that's truly great for all ages. I can play the altered rules with my 4 year old, or the regular rules with my husband. Plus it fits in a purse!

The pictures were very clear and colourful. I liked the idea that you could play the game with various ages so that it woul;d grow up with the child.

Really Fun Card game for kids and adults!

I like that game because rules are super-simple but gameplay still exciting. You can really have a lot of fun using special action cards to block other gamers from their goals. It's also not a long game, maybe 15-25 minutes maximum. So it is good to play while traveling.5 out of 5.
