Igloo Cooler Threaded Drain Plug Caps with Plastic Tether 20049 White Small

Fit my cooler perfectly. And now I have a spare too.

We lost our cooler cap a year or so ago and was making do with a cap from a soda bottle. While the soda bottle cap kept most of the water from the melting ice in the cooler it was also a constant source of leaking. These replacements are robust, rugged and a perfect fit. The heavy gage of the plastic and thick washer take our cooler back to OEM performance. Couldn’t be happier.

These worked perfectly in my older igloo cooler from 2003.

Cheap, came early, works perfect, and fits our igloo cooler perfectly.

I have some spare accessories that fit my newer (12 yrs) rolling 70 qt. 5-day Igloo Max, but the extra drain plugs don't fit the old small marine fishing Igloo as its drain is bigger around than the drain on my big cooler. I read reviews some mentioning this plug was too big to fit which gave me hope it would fit mine. And a few hints from some other reviewers on this drain plug & I suspect one guy even had the same awesome small cooler that I have. I used hot tap water to soak the plastic circle end in & stretched it a bit with my fingers which made it easier to put on. To replace the recently broke hinges, I have yellow firehose material from a hinge company on order that I'll cut & drill to fit. I did find a saved bottle cork that fits snug, too.

Ordered but still needs the cooler tightener drain fittings before can attached this external drain cap.

Replacement caps on very large salmon cooler. Works great!
