reading all these reviews from this ball really upsets me, it is a real high quality ball that your getting your money worth for! im surprised they charge it for such low prices for such a high quality ball. as a PROFFESIONAL volleyball player i can confirm that it is soft to the touch, durable, and sturdy! volleyballs are not manufactured for your pet, your son who wants to kick it and rough it up, or for harsh grounds because that is just gonna tear it! they are made for courts and beaches where the ball has a soft place to land. whatever bad reviews you read about this ball is solely that individuals fault due to mistreating it. I for one absolutely positively reccomend this ball! not so much for beginners because you need to get used to the roughness of a regular ball. but this one is certainly recommended with players of experience.

I got this as a gift for a 13 year old. She had a volleyball on her birthday list. I wasn't sure what kind so I stuck with highly rated and also game regulated size. She was super stoked when she opened it and she tried it out and said it would be perfect for her to practice at home. I didnt feel like their was extra softness in it, but I don't mess around with volleyball too much so I'm not sure. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures before I gave it to her. Mine came in a box with the ball inside in a plastic bag. The ball itself was not in a box like you would buy at the store, but it was aired up and kept its firmness for a week or so before I gave her the gift.

I'm very happy with this purchase overall. However, I feel it is too far for the item to be listed as "super soft". When I ralleyed back and forth with just one friend, my forearms felt bruised from the hardness of the ball. If I played with at least 2 or 3 others, it was more tolerable to have more recovery between hits. It feels about average hardness, not "soft". It's also the synthetic material which maybe contributes to the stiff feel. But it works, it's holding up and the color is cute, so whatever! Still happy overall :)

Love this ball, love that it comes pumped up and ready to play since I don't own a pump. The outside of the ball is the soft cushiony material most players will be familiar with however the ball itself isn't soft and the outside foam layer doesn't seem to be that thick. Standard volleyball hardness wouldn't recommend for smaller children as it does hurt your arms before you get into the groove of playing and build up a tolerance. Perfect for playing in a park or with friends.

Perfect condition I don’t know much more I can say about a ball. It’s a ball and my kids love it. It’s raggedy looking bow now but iud held up quite well.

I bought this volleyball to use as a practice ball for upcoming school tournaments, and it's exactly what I was looking for. It has a comparably hard surface and is a bit smaller than the larger, softer volleyballs that many may be accustomed to, so watch out for that. If you're looking to get a bit more serious, though, then this ball is perfect. I've been using it regularly for several weeks now and it still hasn't shown any damage, and mud and grass stains wash off quite easily if tended to quickly. Overall, it's a very versatile ball that I'm sure would be useful to any avid volleyball player looking to get serious.

This balls looks good and it was great to play with it but the balls start peeling off so soon.

Very durable ball. I have been using this ball to play with my 100lb doby/boxer pup who catches it with her teeth and it has withstood her grip!! We use it every day (we have had it a cpuple of months now) Great product. !
