Skates are perfect for my granddaughter

Her parents were thrilled and I am sure she will like them. She is only two and there is an ice skating pond near her home. They are exactely like the picture and well made.

Perfect sizing. That always helps. Love that they are double runner blades for easier balancing. Daughter loves them - 3 years old

My two year old seemed to skate well in them and she is a beginner. The blades are very dull (probably for safety?) and they do look “cheap”.

The skates do the trick for $30. Kind of flimsy material - nothing stiff about it for ankle support - but just double sock it and your kid will be fine. Really easy for our daughter to stand up.

Despite the negative reviews I bought these because they were the only double-runner skates I could find in the size I needed. But - as the other reviews said, they have no ankle support at all, rendering them useless and potentially dangerous. I therefore initiated a return, only to learn that it would cost me more to ship them than I paid for the skates! When I contacted Amazon to request that they consider paying for the return postage since the skates are so poorly made that they are essentially defective, I received this reply: "The skates are low-cost recreational skates and the price reflects that."I have since purchased higher quality single-blade skates with real support. From a real person, in a real store, with customer service.Bottom line: Do not buy these skates. They are not worth the metal they are made of.

Wonderful for the 2-3 year olds who need that extra balance the double runners give.
