Review: great brace - I have had knee problems since High School sports, I am now in my mid fifties. I have used a variety of braces over the years. I have stretch tendons and now finally Patella Osteoarthritis. I have been avoiding surgery, doc wants to do a tendon release. I have used many braces over the last 35 years. This last flair up about year ago I had to get shots and start wearing braces for anything more than walking around the house. The doc prescribed Genutrain brace; Genutrain was the worse brace I have worn besides walmart specials. The Neo G knee brace is fantastic. I have only worn it for a month. I wear it almost everyday; Out working in the yard, climbing up & down ladders doing construction projects at home. This brace can be worn all day long (16 hour days) and is very comfortable. The brace sometimes will slip about 1/2 inch but is easily readjusted with just a small tug. The brace still allows full movement. I still wear a heavier duty brace (McDavid) for more strenuous activities. The Mcdavid brace has cross support both above and below the knee, but I can only wear that brace for about 3-4 hours. With the McDaivid I also wear an inner liner that keeps the brace from rub my skin raw, I do not the the liner with the Neo G brace. The mcDaivid also restricts movement and bunches up behind the knee. I have not been brave enough to try the Neo G for heavy duty activity. but it would probably work just fine. THe Universal sizing works great; Takes the guess work out of buying the wrong size brace. As far as shipping times from the UK. They are fantastic, just over one week to receive the brace. As long as I can get one year out of this brace, it is worth every Penny, shilling, Euro that it cost. This brace is a must for minimal to at least moderate support activities. Thank you Neo G
Review: Awesome! Stays up. Allows bending. Doesn't pinch. Easy to put on. Found it after trying 2 others and love it. - Awesome brace! I have arthritis in my knee and it hurts to walk. The MD says I'm about 4 years out from a replacement. I don't plan to sit for 4 years. I discovered that a brace with side stabilizers would hold my knee in stable position so that the damaged areas would be less likely to rub against each other which eases pain significantly. I need to wear the brace sun up to sun down. I tried two other braces with stabilizers. One was comfortable, but wouldn't stay up. The other would stay up but would pinch like heck after awhile and would limit bending. Then I found this one. It is awesome. It stays in place. It bends easily. It doesn't pinch - I have actually worn it on 4 transatlantic plane rides with no discomfort. It holds my knee in place so that I can do my two mile walk with little discomfort. If I put it on just right, I can be almost pain free. It goes on by wrapping around your knee, not like pulling it up like a sock. I love this brace. However I must give two warnings. It takes forever to dry after washing, so, if you are like me and need to wear it all the time, buy two of them so you can have one to wear while the other one dries. The second is that it is warm. I was extra hot wearing it out doors in 90 degree heat, but I was quite willing to be warm to be able to walk around without pain on my recent trip to Europe (no bragging intended). It does show up on airport scans, but after a short personal exam, I was passed thru. Oh, one more caveat - stairs are not conquered by this brace. Somedays stairs are no problem and some days they are. I haven't figured out yet what makes the difference but the brace makes them a LOT easier to do even on bad days.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't Want Surgery? Try These First

...Or, 'Comfortable Support With Fewer Velcro Straps.' I've trawled the internet and news items, seeking out authoritative medical articles and the upshot is that many people with sore but not swollen joints get surgery too early or unnecessarily. I opted for 'Plan B', the one that costs me or the taxpayer far less money. I wear a set of knee braces and an ankle brace all day and most days to deal with arthritic joints. For more than a year, I have been using McDavid Level II braces with good results. Their drawback is an extra set of Velcro straps and their pull-on sleeve design, which bunches a bit at the back when I am sitting. Enter Neo G with its open wrap-around design and similar side stays. This is a 'one-size fits most' package so users won't have issues with selecting the wrong size (as many do with other 'sleeve-based' products.) The trade-off is a bit less compression and support. Neo G also has strong reinforcement tabs to prevent the stabilizer springs from wearing through the ends of their pockets. I would expect that this will give the set a longer useful life than the McDavid item. (My first set of McDavids wore through in a few months but my second set has been good for over six months.) With this Neo G set, I still get good distribution of stress away from the joint and I also get a bit less moisture build-up due to the backless design. I like Neo G very well but I will continue to keep a set of McDavid braces for alternating wear. Note: After three months of use and washings, the wide but thin Velcro tabs tend to curl up around the edges. This Velcro is less aggressive than that used by McDavid and the Neo G tabs can come loose during use.
