Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Mark Mori's BETTIE PAGE REVEALS ALL is an intimate look at one of the world's most recognized sex symbols, told in her own words for the first time. In Mori's alluring documentary, the real Bettie Page emerges from the veil of myth and rumor via audio interviews taped a decade prior to her death in 2008. With earthy, razor sharp wit, Bettie tells her life story - from humble beginnings as one of six children in an impoverished southern family, to high school salutatorian, to scandalous 50s pin-up model, to shocking retirement in 1957 at the peak of her modeling career. Sharing rare details about her short-lived first marriage and many torrid affairs, this keen insider's glimpse follows Bettie through decades of broken marriages, born-again Christianity, and bouts of mental illness, before her ultimate return to the public eye in the early 90's, unaware of her cult status. Ranked by Forbes in 2012 as one of the top ten posthumous celebrity earners, Bettie and her enduring legacy continue to flourish. With a stunning array of gorgeous photographs, unusual archival material, and playful movie footage, BETTIE PAGE REVEALS ALL shows how Bettie's unabashed sexual expression and provocative poses set the stage for the sexual revolution and ushered in a modern era in fashion. For stars like Katy Perry and Beyonce, as well as new generations of adoring fans around the world, Bettie remains an irresistible style icon and an empowering role model. Review: Well worth the view - Awesome details of a major personality in her own words (plus those of some of the people who knew her). You could consider her a tragic figure because of her mental health issues later in life, but I think she made it out OK. Outstanding work. Review: You'll fall in love all over again - I'm sure many of Bettie Page's legions of fans would agree that they fell in love with her the moment they laid eyes on her. For me, that happened in the mid Nineteen-Eighties when the late comic book artist Dave Stevens helped to stir up a revived interest in her. Even though her whereabouts were unknown at the time and she was obviously many years my senior, my impression of the sweet personality conveyed by her images always made me feel like maybe I could have won her heart, if only we had been contemporaries. I'll bet a lot of guys had similar feelings. This excellent documentary brought back a lot of those bittersweet feelings, and at the same time made me very happy that Bettie got a chance to tell her story before she died. Even as an older woman in her eighties, she isn't ashamed to admit that she enjoyed her sexuality as a younger woman. And even though deeply religious, she was still proud of her career as a pin-up model. She lived a life that had no shortage of hardships, and yet she clearly had no regrets. This documentary is a loving portrait of a beautiful woman who truly had a Joie de vivre, and it's a joy that carries over to the viewer. This is one movie I will revisit time and time again.

The Mysterious Betty on Blu Ray? YES Please
I Met the Lovely Ms Page at her final Days. The DVD IN REG Format is nice. Blu Ray the look is better and it is a Personal Choice for the buy.

Solid Bio, Loaded Blu Ray
The film definitely sets out to tell Page’s version of events, rather than construct a purely objective history. It’s here to admire, rather than analyze. Still, it rarely appears skewed or skips unflattering details. It’s also fairly comprehensive, covering her entire life story in detail that can perhaps be best described as “good enough.” The disc is also loaded with extras that are, alone, worth the price. All in all, I’d call it a must for Page fans.

You will be educated and delighted.
Bettie Page Reveals All is worthwhile viewing for Page's fans. The final third is the documentary's strongest section. It covers Bettie Page's later years after she leaves modeling and film. The earlier segments cover the same territory as the biopic The Notorious Bettie Page; however, they offer also interesting commentary about mid-20-c social context. I am glad to have watched Bettie Page Reveals All. Bettie herself is a commentator in the movie. She did not always give many interviews, so her words are valuable.

A fabulous documentary narrated by Bettie Page herself
I was fortunate enough to see this documentary on the big screen at an independent movie theater. It's amazing. It is so insightful to hear Bettie Page tell her story in her own words, and there is a stellar cast of well known people who are interviewed about her as well. It is exceptionally well made, and I'm really excited to have it on Blu-ray.

Bettie Page tells all...and it's wonderful.
To many of us, Bettie Page is an icon, a beautiful woman captured in time. But she was a human being just like us, and in this documentary we see how human she was. In an interview taken before she died, Bettie tells us of her childhood in Tennessee and her molestation by her father, her rocky marriage to her teenage sweetheart (and eventual divorce), being discovered in New York by a Coney Island African-American cop, her career in Irving and Paula Klaw's Movie Star News, her session in Congress interviewed by Senator Keufaver, her disastrous second marriage, finding religion, her stint in and out of mental hospitals, and the rediscovery of her fans and her influence on pop culture as a whole. Interspersed with her interview are comments by Paula Klaw, noted pinup photographer Bunny Yeager, Hugh Hefner, and many others. For a sneak peek into the life of one of the most beautiful cultural icons, this documentary is a must.

If Bettie Page did not exist it would be necessary to invent her
If you thought you knew Bettie (like I mistakenly thought). This is a real eye opener, full of interesting facts and a real insight into the life of the fabulous Bettie. Fun but not light on the facts and the content. A real treat if you thought you knew Bettie from The Notorious Bettie Page prepare to be indulged.

Nice little documentary
This an interesting look 'behind the scenes' so to speak about Bettie, her life, and her career. The only problem I have with it is that, too often (and the same can be said for others like this) the background music and noise is often too loud to hear the narration or speaking properly. Different settings on the TV screen and/or player don't seem to help. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

Toll

The real Bettie at last
Passionant.

She's not what you think she is.
This is a wonderful DVD documentary about the iconic 1950's Bettie Page "the Queen of Pin up models". Her personal story may surprise many of you as she reveals some of her darkest secrets after she went into obscurity after her 1950's modeling career. A wonderful lady and personality who forever changed the photography industry as well as the notion of what beautiful really means and is. Great movie over all.
