Whitmor Set of 20 Black Spacemaker Plastic Suit Hangers

I have used these hangers for years and really like them. It seems like each time I order more they have gone down in quality. They are more flimsy and I have had some have the hook break off with the more recent ones. So they are still good hangers, just unfortunately not as good as they were.

I love these hangers!!!!!!! Let me start by saying, I have a lot of hanging clothes so I exclusively own these types of slim line hangers to help me organize things better in a small space. However, almost the only thing you can find in the slim hangers nowadays are the suede fabric type. I very much dislike those kinds except for when I really need a non-slip hanger (a camisole, tank top made of slippery fabric etc.) but for the rest of my clothes especially long sleeved shirts it's a hassle to put them on the non-slip hangers! These are made of a hard plastic, that is not a grippy material so be aware of that. It was exactly what I have been looking for for a while now, at a lot of different retailers. When I found these online, I couldn't believe the price. 25 for $11?!?! That's a great price compared to what I have seen, I immediately bought 3 sets of them. They exactly match ones I had previously bought on clearance at Bed Bath & Beyond that I have had for the past 5 years, so yes these are very sturdy too. The hook on top independently rotates from the bottom plastic portion, another plus on one piece solid plastic hangers. Just a warning, you have to give a little pressure and it makes a bit of a cracking/popping noise before the hook will rotate. However, this hasn't affected any of my hangers that I have noticed so don't be afraid (and remember I have had them for 5 years). Great product for a great price. These rock! I am actually not using them for suits at all, but as a nice space saver hanger for my husbands t-shirts and polos. These are quite sturdy and very slim. I just counted out 40 of his shirts on these hangers and slid them to one side of the rack (pushed together) to measure how little space these things really take up, barely over 1 foot (14" to be exact) of hanging space can hold 40 of my husbands size large polos and t-shirts on these! WOW. In the picture with the shirts and polos, that bar is only 22 inches long, so you can see with them all slid to the side how little space these use.He cant stand hangers that grab or hold the shirts like velvet or sticky rubber. He likes to "pull and go" (Yeah, I know, not great on the collar...but we haven't had any misshaping of collars with these!) Also, by moving to these we have regained way more than half his closet space! No kidding, I never realized how much those other plastic hangers actually take up in space...this is awesome! Perfect solution for men who dont like those grippy space saver hangers. I ended up getting a hundred of these, none have broken nor look like they will...they hold up light weight jackets well too. They look pretty nice all neat in a row...make the closet look more organized which is a bonus, because we just revamped ours and its so pretty now I just want to sit in it and look around, lol. We just completed construction of our new home with a really nice walk-in closet, so I wanted to get rid of all the old cheap plastic hangers - and the space hogging wood ones, and make the closet look neat and tidy with these thin, contemporary style hangers. I purchased the velvet coated hangers for my clothes but my husband didn't like how they stuck to his shirts and he wanted smooth plastic, so I purchased these for him. They all had the same chrome metal tip and black color so the closet still looks gorgeous with both, but I have to say that my husband was right and his smooth plastic hangers are much easier to hang any clothing which has shoulders as it slides right on without having to wrestle with the velvet grabbing it. I'm buying more of his smooth plastic ones for me and for our guest room. These are hard to find as the velvet coated ones seem to be the current craze. Nice look, easy to use and good, sturdy quality too!

I love these hangers and have slowly replaced every other kind in our home. They are sturdy and even hold heavy winter coats and flannel shirts. These don't break like those velvet covered hangers.However, over time I have had some of the hangers break off, so I just ordered more to replace these. Was extremely disappointed to receive in a box too big so 2 of the hangers were already broken off the base upon arrival. Figured easier to keep 18 good ones than send entire order back and hope next ones were packed better.Update: Contacted vendor and they promptly sent 2 replacement hangers. Now that's great customer service!!!

Love the look of these hangers, I had all different kinds of hangers before and colors. Just wanted everything to be uniform and clean looking as well.

I don't like velvet...clothes stick too much. I love these because they keep the shirts nice and they are very slim.

I had upgraded my hangers from the old plastic white ones to the velvet covered ones, and found that hanging and taking off knits shirts is a huge pain, and my husband hated them and refused to help with the laundry if I kept using them, so I had to find something else. I found these on amazon and they are perfect - still nice and thin so they don't take up much room, but easy on and off which makes my husband (and me) happy. I did keep some of my velvet hangers for slippery material and tank tops (because the velvet ones have little indents which help keep straps from slipping ... these plastic ones don't). Our closet holds a lot more than it used to, and it looks nice too!
