Soaked the mesquite chips in water, drained them, and placed them in a layer on the water pan. Man, that whole chicken came out so good. Next whole ham but...!

The media could not be loaded. Good size bag for the price. Added to a smoker box and used them to smoke a brisket. Got about 30 minutes of thin blue smoke from dry chips.
