ARB 750003 Competition Differential Cover for DANA 40 ideal for increasing the rigidity of the whole axe and protect the differential and ring and pinion set from any off-road hazards

Perfect for and looks cool as well as tough for off road

This ARB Diff Cover went on my wife's 2013 rubicon stock i got all the bolts off fine except one the long top left side.. the track bar or sway bar was in the way couldn't get it on i tighten all them added lucas synthetic gear oil (about 2 and 1/2 ) L., and drove in reverse up the sidewalk to clear the last bolt, i suppose you can use a lift or jack to lift out of the way but i found it EZ-er to just drive the rear tire up on the side walk to create some flex enough to clear, other than that it took me no more than 30 min to install, paired the diff cover with a Lube Locker Gasket so no messy RTB. Looks great now the jeep needs another in the front to match! i recommend this to any 1 with a D44... ARB you guys Rock ! too bad no Decal in the box, i wish they included a sticker to put on my jeep like the lube locker that came with a decal....

Excellent covers. Have them front and rear on my TJ. D30 and D44.

I'll be honest: Bought this to look cool under my Jeep; changing to synthetic diff oil was a bonus of the install. I'll never offroad enough to test their limit. Ended up buying the Dana 30 cover for the front after installing this. Very very high quality, and the red looks great. Dipstick makes it super easy to fill. Installed with Lubelocker gasket to make install much easier - hardest part was cleaning off the old gasket sealant.

Dislike: cost! It’s not cheap.Like: thick and gives me more confidence when rock crawling plus added bling to the Jeep.

Construction is sturdy. Definitely a piece of armor. The integrated dip stick and 2nd hole makes maintenance and oil changes a breeze. Consider the lube locker gasket for quick maintenance jobs. ARB has definitely priced this like they are really proud of their product. Believe me, this thing works nice, looks nice and is probably the best constructed diff cover I've see for the D44. That said? is it worth paying twice the cost of an alternative aftermarket cover? I don't know, you can be the judge of that. Just know that if this does fit in your budget, you won't be dissatisfied. If it doesn't fit in your budget, get the alternative and your will probably be happy with it too. So, at the end of the day this is kind of the Louis Vuitton of diff covers.

It’s beautiful! Pure beef and well machined with quality hardware. Was hesitant on spending this much on a differential cover but damn was it worth it once I placed it on my Dana 44 rebuild
