L-Tyrosine 500 mg 120 Capsules (Pack of 2)

I am seeing results after just two weeks. I researched the NOW brand before I made my purchase and it is highly recommended.

I've been in a funk ever since giving birth to our second child. With my first one I went on antidepressant and while it got my depression under control, I hated the numb feeling. It was nice to not feel the 'bad', but it also numbed the 'good' and ultimately made me feel like a robot. So this time around I decided to try something less chemical, and it seems to be working. I use it along with 5-htp (pm, this am) and my mood seems to be slightly lifted. Again, this is no magic pill, but I really feel my normal self and that's exactly what I was looking for! It takes a while to start working (maybe 2-3 weeks, so please give it some time). Good luck!

I wanted to wait a while before posting a review to make sure that I could give an accurate one, but it's been a few weeks since I started taking 5-htp, along with l-tyrosine and rhodiola, and I have to say that I feel fantastic at work. I no longer have severe pms mood swings, nor do I get overwhelmed as easily. I'm able to remain calm and focused, so I would recommend these products to anyone. I can't be sure which of these products- if not all- is most helpful, but I will definitely purchase them again.

Had been researching products, since all I had ever taken was an SSRI, and after reviewing symptoms of low Dopamine, low, serotonin, low norepineprine, I became intrigued enough to try L-tyrosine. Did like I read somewhere, 1st time to take 500mg every 30 minutes for 3 doses to really see if your system really needed it or not. OMG, I was more alert and focused than I had been in years!!! So I began taking 500mg 3-4 times daily. I would get up early, take a cap, go back to bed for atleast 15 minutes, then get up ready for the day. After a couple of months, started experiencing mild headache and increased heart rate, so deduced that since this is a supplement, maybe my needs are being met and could decrease my dose. Now I am currently taking 500mg early morning. Have added Tranquillene and GABA to balance out the rest of the day. I really think if you " just can't get going, kinda stuck in a fog" atleast the 3 cap test would be worth a try. If it does nothing for you, this probably isn't something your system if needing.

My man loves taking amino acids, as they really help to boost his mood and give him a clear mind. He roughed his body up for about ten years with drug addiction, and amino acids, healthy eating and homeopathics really help to balance him out and absolutely give him a better day. I enjoy getting supplements from NOW Foods because they are a great price, and you can often get multiple packs of them or get them in large bulk sizes. This means that I can just buy a ton of them a few times a year for him and not have to worry about going to the store and forgetting them, (which I always do lol) for him.

If you know you're suffering from low dopamine this really helps. It gives you clean motivation all throughout the day. Wonderful brain support supplement. However going too much can cause headaches and taking it too late at night can cause insomnia. Just be weary how you use it.

Does what it says. Works

I took it for 3-4 weeks.. Twice a day.. I didn't notice any difference. I have a friend that swears by it, so your mileage will vary.
