Splat Rebellious Colors Hair Coloring Complete Kit Rain Ombre

Wear the gloves, put Vaseline on your face, get prepared for some work! LOL This product has EVERYTHING that you need to turn your hair pink and purple. Personally, I cared more about the pink.The amount of bleach should be mentioned. There was not enough to do my whole head, so I ended up getting a halo effect on the top of my head. The second time I did it, I just bleached the front of my hair. I am very happy with it. The bleach in this kit is FANTASTIC. We got extra from Sally's but their bleach didn't work as well as the SPLAT bleach. I am a DARK brunette, so I left the bleach in to the last second.Before you work with the color, step in the shower or put a tarp down like we did. There will be color everywhere and this color WILL STICK. In fact, we found a drop of purple on the ceiling the last time we did it. LOL This dye is no joke.The color is not permanent, so don't sit in the shower waiting for the color to rinse clear because it won't. I LOVED the colors that I achieved. The first time I let my hair sit for 40 minutes with the color in it because it isn't a chemical feel. The second time I put the color in for just 20 minutes and I was disappointed with how quickly it faded out. FYI.

I’ve been using Splat for 11–12 years but my favorite kits are the Ombré ones because they are perfect when you have short hair or when you are going for more of a faux hawk & you can just use one of the colors instead of both. Just be careful that Splat WILL stain your scalp; I always buy extra gloves and Vaseline.

-sits with the dye in still in her hair, waiting for the hour to be up-So far it's been pretty disappointing ... not because of the product itself.. but the quantity.I have shoulder length hair, which you would think a single box would be enough for, but alas....no...First.... there asn't enough lightener. I saturated it the best I could, but there wasn't enough to get my entire head... I was left with brown streaks that I just didn't have enough fluid left for....sooo I had to buy a 2nd box of lightener... which still didn't get my hair as light as I expected... but...it shouldn't be an issue once it's dyed... (or maybe it will be... we'll see in 40mins!)Next... there wasn't enough pink dye... I had the brilliant idea... lets do the top halt of my head pink, and the bottom half purple... with my bangs/fring tipped a little with the purple dye. Wellll this didn't work... again, after putting ALL the pink on the top half.. I could still see blond patches that had hid from my attention. I ended up hading to cover them with purple...soo... crossing my fingers it comes out looking like... something...When all was said and done... I used EVERY DROP of that dang dye, with no ability to spread it further...and I'm not gunna be surprised if I find more blond streaks... (35mins and I'll update!)

My son wanted hair color for summer and this kit allowed for 2 separate applications of color (one pink and 4 weeks later we did purple). The color did not hold quite as well as he hoped but it faded nicely and relatively evenly. He was happy and the price point was good. I would recommend for a special occasion or someone who doesn't mind if it fades with each wash. For lasting color you may want a different product. For a quick wash out, you definitely want a different product.

We have used Splat brand products before and learned to NOT do this in your bathtub or shower unless you want it the color of the hair dye. We did it outside and rinsed it out with the hose. The first time we used Splat our bathtub was blue for a month.This has a bleaching mixture to lighten the hair. My daughter has dirty blonde hair and we left it in for 30 minutes and we noticed the difference. She only wanted the ends done. If you have long hair, you will need about 3 boxes if you plan on doing your whole head. There isn't much product. We did this before Christmas and she has received many compliments that people love her hair color!

This product turned out super cute. However washed out after 24 hours when my daughter had gone swimming for an hour.

I ordered "Rain" and "Blue Crush" and used them together. I did not use the bleach, because my hair is gray. I'm 63 and have been teaching online since the virus hit, and I decided as long as my students couldn't see me, I'd go wild. I'm so so thrilled with the rich colors I got. I used the four tubes (two from each box) randomly, kind of finger-painting my hair. I've never done anything like this before, but I will certainly do it again if I live so long. No one sees me but my husband, but it makes me happy every time I look in the mirror.

I've actually done a style like this, but with two different boxes. I was so delighted to see that they had an ombre set that actually had the colors I like. Pretty easy to use, and just needs time and patience. For me, I used the Loreal blue bleach mix instead of what was in the actual kit. But that's just a personal preference. As you can see from the pictures, the color came out beautiful.

Love the color. Product doesn't come out of bottles easy, was very messy. Don't like the idea that every time my hair is wet it drips tons of color out and stains things and I have had my hair dyed for 3 weeks now.
