Espresso Rotundo

The Lavazza Blue Rotundo and Riccoh are our favourite pods for the Lavazza Blue line of coffee pods. The Rotundo makes for a very enjoyable and flavourful mug of coffee (2 pods for a 12 oz mug), with a nice but not too deep crema. Enjoy it black but prefer it with a bit of milk personally; cream tends to whiten it too much and changes the taste a bit too. Highly recommend!

I’ve had my baby Lavazza machine as a bedroom coffeemaker for a few weeks now and I’m already halfway through this box of capsules. At first I did the normal 1.5oz shots and it was superb with delicious crema. Then I got a hankering for an Americano and ran a full 4oz through it just as an experiment. To my surprise, even though it’s not a bi-dose capsule, it made a respectable, if smallish, cup! I bought another Lavazza machine for my desk at work and now I can’t get enough lattes made with this stuff—at least 4 a day. Milk just brings out the flavor so well. Honestly, these capsules make a 100% better espresso than my do-it-all $2000 suoerautomatic even when I use Lavazza beans. I have a the Intenso on my next S&S and I’m looking forward to trying them out.

I have a Lavazza coffee machine and I can't imagine drinking any other coffee if it's not Lavazza. These Lavazza capsules are the best coffee for me. I highly recommend them.

Good strong coffee with excellent flavor. I have a Lavazza coffeemaker and a Keurig but I use my Lavazza much more. The Lavazza capsules are much harder to find but the value on these is great, works out to less than .50 a cup (I've paid as low as 40. for 100). Whenever we would vacation out of the country there was a Lavazza machine in the room, and I would always say "I gotta get one of these". I paid 90. for the machine two years ago and it's still going strong. I use it practically every day.

Just bought my second case. It’s delicious and can be used straight up or in your coffee. I use the Lavazza mini single espresso machine which was a terrific value. Now I’m hooked on my morning coffee and a shot of espresso, makes the espresso in two sizes. Always drank coffee with a shot of espresso on the road or when on vacation, great to be able to make it at home now. Saw the machine on Amazon and bought the blue capsules at the same time. Perfect match!

This would have been a 5-star review, but because the expiration date is within 3 months from my purchase for 100 pods, I took a star away. Amazon has great prices and quick delivery but often sends older product expiration dates than purchasing directly from Lavazza. The flavor is the best for my daily cappuccino compared to the weaker espresso pods that Lavazza makes.
