Not for us
I bought this book to read to my 2.5 year old grandson. We read it several times and eventually stopped because he picked up all the wrong messages...”go away “ and “I’ve changed my mind “ became routine retorts even with careful, consistent explanation of how those words hurt feelings.

Disappointed
I really wanted to like this book because of the cute panda character and the lesson it supposedly teaches. However, there isn't much of a lesson being taught. Mr. Panda refuses to share and walks away from the "rude" animals. It doesn't teach the reader WHY Panda changed his mind, or have him help the other animals learn manners... they're seemingly just left confused not knowing what they did wrong.

So my kids aren’t the GREATEST
For some reason the pandemic is changing my kids... just this last week they decided to test the “I want...”, “go get me...”, and “ bring me..” statements like they are snobby royalty and I am but a lowly peasant waiting to serve them.... anyways if you really emphasize and enunciate the MAY, the PLEASE, and the THANK YOU in this book you may feel like you’re showing them that manners will be rewarded better than “I want, go get me, or bring me” statements are. Anyways... I love Mr. Panda.

Get this book now!
Please, Mr. Panda is one of my all-time favorite books! We love this book and it is our go to book to give to new parents. The book is colorful and the content is easy to understand for little kids. We love this book as well as the other Mr. Panda books out there. Thank you for writing a book about manners in a way that doesn't make the kids feel guilty!

A great message and story
This book sends a good message...USE MANNERS! Basically the book is about a panda with a box full of donuts, and when he offers donuts to other animals, they are rude about it. No "please" or "thank you" and more of a "gimme" attitude. The panda then revokes the donut offer from all the animals without manners, and finally finds a polite animal that he gives the entire box to happily:) Overall a super cute story with great pictures.

Adorable story about manners
My daughter really liked this book immediately, we also got the Thank you, Mr. Panda. She understands that they’re both about using manners. Cute and funny, easy and short enough for small children to understand, remember and quickly learn a lesson. I liked these books so much that I plan on buying more Mr. Panda books and look forward to seeing my children like them as much as this one.

Not recommended - Does not teach good manners
This book doesn’t encourage good manners. In fact, we felt that it does the opposite. We were disappointed and returned it immediately.

We love this book!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! My 2 year old can "read" every word of this story. Great lesson in manners too. Each time he forgets to say please to me, I simply say, "No, I've changed my mind." He gets a kick out of that and immediately rephrases his request with a "PLEASE, Mr. Panda?!"

Disappointed
Been meaning to buy this book for my little one for a while now. But the disappointment I got once I received it! It's boring and doesn't teach a child anything. Sure, the panda looks cutely drawn, but that's it. Passive-aggressive replies without offering an explanation as to why he's changed his mind after offering all the other animals doughnuts etc. Very little text, I feel like I bought a bunch of blank pages. Too much hype for this book, definitely have changed my mind and I won't be buying the other ones in the series. Also, not worth the money spent.

So funny
My kids love this book. They read it at the nursery, and they always requested this one to be read. They never tire of it. I highly recommend it. Looks great on an iPad screen as well.

Brilliant book about saying please
Lovely little book about manners. Great for younger children or those older ones that have forgotten the importance of sayong please.

A hit with toddler
My toddler (21 mos) loves this one. I personally don’t enjoy it as much (good concept but I think it could have been done better) but it’s He we are looking to entertain so it gets 5 stars.
