Armorwerx U94 PTT System Compatible with Baofeng UV-5R, UV-82, etc. (Civilian Wired)

Was looking to use this with my guys on the shooting range with a cheap Baofeeng UV5R and a Peltor Comtac iii headset. At a first glance it looks like it's constructed well. Plugging my Peltors into the PTT, the connection seemed snug but there is some play with the jack housing within the PTT. Plugging the PTT into the radio there were issues. Fully inserting 2 prong kenwood jack would disengage my right ear coms and only engage the left ear coms. I was able to transmit with the PTT in this configuration but was missing 1/2 the hearing functionality. If i tilted the Kenwood connector back, disengaging the top pin slightly it would engage both left and right ear coms, however transmitting would disengage. For $70 I expect a lot better performance than this. I'll be returning this product and ordering one from Croatia for $55 on ebay to see how that performs.Update 4/20/20- the version I orders on eBay from Croatia finally came. It works and the fit and finish is superior. No play in the NATO plug. The kenwood plug fits good and it provides audio to both ears.
