Ametek New Central Vac Vacuum Motor with Wires Compatible with Most Brands 5.7", Compatible with Electrolux 119412 9412

Not sure if this was a rebuild,but the motor burned up shortly after installation.

Runs very hot. My original motor lasted 17 years and this is my second replacement. I purchased this same motor over a year ago and it burned up in ~9 months. Based on the heat that this one is radiating, it burnt up too. 2 weeks past the return date. These are cheap motors from Taiwan. The motor windings and bearings are probably subpar. As far as the heat radiation, the company blamed my last failure on possible blockage or restrictions in my vacuum system. As a test I ran the new one with a wide open system, just on the bench with a less than 2 foot hose. Same temperature rise, noise and heat radiation

It was used to replace a blower for boat lift. It was only on for about 6 weeks and no longer works. Poor quality if that is all it will last.

WOW, save me hundreds of dollars buying direct from the company. Same quality product as Malco brand but half the price. I use this in my Malco carpet cleaner.

This motor claims to be a 9412 type motor. Physcially, it bascially fits in the application but electrically and vacuum wise, it is not the same. The OEM motor is an 850W 2 stage motor nominally drawing about 7 amps. This is a 1500W single stage motor drawing 11.5 amps. In a two stage application, this will exceed 15 amps and pop the thermal breaker present in most units. The total will also exceed the 20 amps from a normal branch circuit- and will cause nuisance trips of the main breaker on hot days. This is also a one stage pump which give higher CFM but lower suction. It also spins faster making more noise. I'm sure that this a fine motor for some applicaiton but not for what its being sold as. Also slight different physically- about a quarter in taller.

Fit perfectly, no defects, easy to install works great.

As customer I must have the item in my hand as I paid for , so I trust to go forward and order more items that how the business grow, it's a 2.7 kg motor &it wrapped in week box so I look it damaged unusable, i return it but I charged 1/3 of prices of motor ,that not business we are looking for specially when you buy it from Amazon, just not happy, Thanks
