Very pleased with the screen, the product and the packaging. It was complete, but I wanted the fingerprint scanner to work so I replaced it with mine. Couldn't get it to work so I ended up putting the new one back in but still no fingerprint reader. Not a big deal, but it would have been a nice option. It's pretty straight forward as far as the replacement goes but the ribbon cables are tiny and sometimes difficult to attach without tweezers or small hands. Watch the YouTube video and you are good to go!

This is a great screen. Excellent parts and packaging. I've installed dozens of these over the years. This one comes with all the home button, camera, and such already installed. Saves a ton of time. Looks good too. One big caveat...the star screwdriver that removes the first two star screws at the bottom was too big to fit into the screw heads. Fortunately, I have several leftover tools from other screen replacements so I was able to use one of those. If not, I would not have been able to get the first two screws off that release the screen, rendering the whole thing useless. This is not the first time this has happened. Have run into this with other manufacturers in past as well. But just wanted to make note of that. Great product otherwise.

Just finished installing this screen on my daughter’s 5s. Followed the instructions of a YouTube video with 3 million views, and the install was a breeze. I can see how some people may have difficulties, as the screws are VERY small and you have to be careful with all the ribbon connectors.As for the screen itself, I am impressed with the resolution. I see absolutely no difference between the image on this screen and that of the original Apple screen. I was expecting to see a slight loss in the crispness of images/text, but don’t see any. I will update this review with any durability issues, but for now it’s FIVE STARS for sure!

This was not clear within the product details, but if you want Touch ID to work you MUST harvest and reuse the Home Button / Fingerprint Scanner assembly from your original phone. Otherwise this was not a bad product as long as you know how to work with small devices & tools.Pros of the kit:- All Tools Included (including extra screen protector)- Good screen quality- iPhone 5S disassembly/reassembly was relatively easy. Swap-out was well under 1 hour.Con's of the kit:- No instructions included (a quick online search found great instructions on ifixit)- Not clear in product description that Touch ID requires reuse of original home button- Attached Home Button cable does not make a solid connection to the phone connector.- No clear way on the packaging on how to contact the manufacturer

I was initially impressed with how the item was packaged. However, half the tools included turned out to be the WRONG ones. For example the pentalobe screw driver to open the phone was too big and did not work. Luckily, I was able to borrow a friends from his kit. The screen itself began to show lines and shadows below icons after a week. Finally, after only two weeks, the screen has gone blank and my phone does not work. I cannot get it to turn on or charge it or anything. Very disappointed.

New iPhone 5s screen came packaged nicely with all the tools. I used a YouTube video to instruct me on how to replace instead of their instructions. The new screen fit perfectly and performed beautifully. I swapped out the their home button with the original on the phone so that the finger print reader will work. Note: to remove my phones home button it helped to puts it out gently from the front of the screen. The adhesive was impossible to peel off from the inside, I was afraid of tearing the membrane.

Bought two of these as replacements for cracked screens. One the screen worked, but something was messed with the home button like it was constantly held down, that screen did not work for me. Other screen works ok, annoying bright area near the top and occasionally touch screen goes out of wack. Home button arrived installed crooked, but works. Overall, between the two screens one worked, but with glitches. Was outside of return period by the time I got screens installed, so argg. Finger print sensor on home button did not work on either screen. I’ve installed screens before, it is a simple but tedious process and I know I installed both correctly.

I bought this to replace the screen of my mothers iphone that had been cracked for over a year. The kit came with everything you need to replace the screen. I did it in about 30 mins while watching a YouTube tutorial. There has been no issues and I am writing this review 3 months after I did the replacement.
