Good quality fit and finish, worked well and cost is the equivalent of lesser items at the local stores. Clean threads that sealed well, again a good quality item.

Threads work on some fittings
Fits well in some fittings and only goes in a few threads on others. On tight fittings need to lubricate threads with pipe dope and should be ok. Otherwise piece appears well made.

Threading is over machined and results in a smaller than 3/8" sizing
Nipple is too small for the two different manufacturer's female threaded pieces resulting in the nipple bottoming out at both location and not getting tight enough to seal up even with a quality teflon pipe dope. Threads looked good and so did the finish, but if it doesn't work like it should, who cares?

Difficult to avoid water leaks when connecting to another SS fitting, even with Teflon tape. Possible thread galling? OK when threaded into a brass fitting.
