CAUTION, LOW QUALITY PART!!!!! Buy the original Electrolux Part and Save Yourself the Headache
Well it is no fun having to work on appliances but by the time you have waited for a repair service to come and address the problem and then have to order parts you might as well go at it alone. Plus you can save real money as most appliances around your house are relatively basic behind all of the packaging. Took me an hour to get the drier out and the back removed providing access to the heating element. Plenty of YouTube help videos to assist so I wasn't trying to figure out too much on my own. Found the OEM heating element to have failed and needed to replace it. Purchased this item on Amazon because it was Prime Delivery and I thought it would be old stock but high quality. It is not. This part failed within a year, one of the three heating coils broke creating an open circuit. The coloration on the outside of the failed tube is strange as well. It looks like these get really hot in one area and this causes early failure because one end looks pristine while the other looks used (normal). This is a result of either poor installation or poor heating coil materials. I also noticed my towels would have to be run on two cycles as they weren't fully dry at the end of the original cycle. I replaced this broken part with an Electrolux original equipment part. It cost me $142 but that was worth the peace of mind. My towels now dry on one cycle meaning the real OEM replacement coil is working as good as the original.

Saved us!!
For our specific dryer it is a pain to install. We have had to buy two of these, exactly a year apart. But it saves us thousands of dollars on going and buying a new dryer..it comes with everything needed to put it together. I’m praying this last one lasts a little longer!!!

Saved me some bucks, dude
My Electrolux dryer died. I was fearfully looking at the cost of new ones. I was also fearfully looking online for appliance repairmen near me. Everything I ready said boy it was gonna cost me. Then hubs insists I order this part. He’s confident that he can fix the dryer. Y’all. This man cannot manage to get his laundry to the hamper and suddenly he’s Mr. Dryer Fixer. Sort of halfway planning to hire the dryer guy to double fix the original problem plus whatever hubs screwed up, I ordered this part. Wouldn’t you know, he fixed it in no time, said it was just a few screws and that there are videos online. Works great, like new. I may be under utilizing my husband. But anyway, this product works and it saved me money. Total win.

Great value and pice of mind!
This is the third one to go into our dryer, has saved a bundle by not having to hire a repairman, or buy a new dryer! If you're a little handy it is fairly easy to install. Great price of mind knowing it was done right. And as a bonus you will clean the left over lint and reduce any fire hazard from inside.

Could be a cheap product but may be additional issues
So 2 years ago almost to the day we ordered this product and replaced ours on our Electrolux dryer. A few days ago it went out again. It was clearly getting very hot because there was discoloration but I tend to look at the broad picture and I asked my husband what he thought could cause this to happen 2 times in 2 years. We came up with obvious overheating and we talked about the dryer vent in the house. When not vented properly this can cause the heat to blow back into or build up in the dryer. So we cleaned ours out abs found that it had probably never been done in our rental condo. We removed a pile of lint that filled about 3/4 of our 5 gallon shop vac. My husband just ordered the same part because it was easiest to order so we will have to see if this fixes the issue or if the part is the reason for the overheating. My suggestion though is if you are having dryer issues order a kit to clean your vent in your house too. This is a huge fire hazard and we are lucky we didn’t have a fire. They have kits on amazon or local hardware box store. I will update if the element goes out again.

Get a warranty
I got the product quickly and installed it easily. It worked great for the first Two months and then quit working. Not sure if there is a warranty, and product looked of good quality and you could not tell the difference from the original part. Suggest checking for warranty before you buy.
