3M 7515 Scotch-Brite Roloc Surface Conditioning Disc, Blue, 2 in, Very Fine

Need to remove a gasket from aluminum but worried about damaging the surface? These are just the ticket. Easy on most surfaces but still able to remove things like stuck on gaskets. Removes rust if it is not too severe. Lightly polishes surfaces but don't use on anodized aluminum. It will go right through that to the bare aluminum.

Good quality 3M pad for surface prep, a lot more money than some other brands but these definitely hold up longer and work better than any of the many other brands we have use in the shop.

Works excellent. Not very aggressive and perfect for aluminum.

I bought the cheaper version of these pads, DONT DO IT! They are much HARDER and remove a lot of material. I learned my lesson and to only order the 3M brand. 3m Brand or nothing. I also ordered the super fine version (grey) and have really been pleased with those as well.
