Stomp Stone Stepping Stones Pack Of 4 Recycled Rubber Hard Wearing Durable

Used to provide stepping stones to our garden shed - 6 months on and they are soundly lodged in the ground, the lawnmower has been over them a few times and they have taken no damage.They aren't cheap but hopefully as a one off investment worthwhile, easy to use, robust without being cumbersome, aesthetically fine and most importantly not slippy in the wet.The heavier you are, the sooner that they will properly bed in, but I would imagine that it won't take very long even for someone of half my weight to have walked them into a secure placement - it really is as simple as lying the lightweight tiles on top of your grass and then walking on them as intended!

I like the look and the quality of this product once installed. I would imagine they would be easy to install over short grass ie a recently cut lawn. If laying directly on soil I would advise preparing the soil very finely, then lightly water the soil and press into position. I tried other ways on the soil but this had the best effect. A bit more work than expected but delighted with the final finish. They appear to be hard wearing, no marks when walking on them in dirty shoes. That has to be good!

Fantastic product. My cats use these all the time as they don’t like walking on gravel. Very versatile and economical, I’ve purchased these more than once, the material doesn’t crack or split, literally stomp them where you want them, they don’t move once established in the pea gravel. Extremely stable on grass. What a way to recycle old tyres .., love it.

These are ok for a quick cheap fix. They need a firm foundation. Recommend you bed them into some building sand as they tend to dip in the middle when you step on them if you don’t. I was expecting firm rubber like a car tyre but they are more “plasticky”. Average value for money.

Really good used under pots in my garden to raise them off the ground. Not sure how steady they’d be a stepping stones but they look good and they’re great value for money.

Complete rubbish plastic bend when stood on plastic tile broken the fist time I used one look cheap not made of rubber as advertised just thin plastic

I need some stepping stones that I could fit easily into my backgarden which tends towards sogginess. these stepping stones made from recycled rubber were prefect and easy to install too. they are not heavy but they are durable and they settle into the ground well. the cats love to sit on them since theym they retain any warmth that there is . Recommended

Although okay they were not really what I was expecting. The weight is not there and water hangs on the surface for a long time so in winter I think they would be slippy and not safe to walk on. I feel they would be better for using as a walkway in a greenhouse but not suitable for what I wanted them. I have kept them just going to use in a different position.
